Chapter Twenty Five. Asking A Important Question.

I didn't really write Eric's proposal to Nell so I'll write Deeks proposal to Kensi 'cus... Well, I want to. You will have to suffer. Although I don't think you think this is something bad.qi
So this is pretty much a Densi chapter.

Deeks' PoV.

Kensi is waiting in the car so I have to be quick. I told her I was going to ask Hetty something, which is true, but I didn't tell her what. She is sitting in her office and drinking her usual cup of tea. "Hi Hetty, I was just wondering if Kensi and I could, uh, take Thursday off?" I ask and hope she won't kill me for asking if we could skip work. "Of course Mr Deeks. And good luck, I'm sure she will say yes." I stare at her for a moment. "How did y-..." I say but she interrupts me. "Go home and get some sleep Mr Deeks." I walk away from there very comfused. I know that she knows everything but how? ...seriously, how? It's scary.

Kensi's PoV. (Thursday. ...yes, that Thursday)

Deeks have acted suspiciously this last week. He is hiding something, I can feel it. But what is he hiding and why? First I thought he might be cheating but he would never do that. One, Because he loves me, two, because we went through a lot to be together, three, he knows I would kill him, and four, he would never do anything to hurt me. He told me that he had a surprise for me tonight so maybe he bought a gift? Or he might have planned a movie night. I hope we'll watch Titanic and cuddle. I enjoy cuddling with Deeks a lot more than I would want to admit. It's Thursday today but apparently Deeks got us a day of. I don't know how but he did. "Hello, Kensi to the world." I can hear Deeks say and I realize that I zoned out. "Sorry, did you say something?" I say and hope that he won't be mad because I didn't listen but he just smiles. "I said, we're going to a fancy restaurant in an hour so maybe you should find something to wear." What's so special about today? "Are we celebrating something?" I ask and he just smirks. "Nothing wrong with taking the love of my life somewhere nice for no reason." He's being really sweet so I kiss him before going to the bedroom to change.

Deeks' PoV.

While she changes her clothes I switch into an expensive suit that I bought just for today. I make sure that I have the ring with me and that you can't see the little black velvet box in my pocket. When we're both ready and in the car she tries to get me to tell her where we are going. Of course I won't tell her because I want it to be a surprise. And I think it does surprice her when we stop outside of the restaurant where I tried to go on a date with her without her knowing all those years back. "Gosh. We haven't been here for ages." She says with a smile. "I know." I say, proud with myself. "I remember this as a really good restaurant." I continue, not referring at the food at all. Our "date" here years ago was one of the things that made us become a couple. We sit down at a table and order our food. She orders some sort of spaghetti with shrimp sauce. I order a salad. I feel extremely nervous about today. I'm going to ask her, I'm going to ask Kensi if she will marry me. After we have eaten we sit and chat for a while. We talk about work, that Nell and Eric is going to be parents, a little about us and other things. After a while I decide that now is the best time to do it so I rise from my chair and takes out the box from my pocket. I open the box and reveal the ring in the same time as I stand on one knee. "Kensi, when I met you for the first time in that gym which where we were both undercover in I could never have imagined how much I would have grow to love you. I could think of no better way to live than spend the rest of my life with you. So Kensi Mary Blye, will you marry me?" I ask. She smiles and looks very happy. "Yes. A thousand times yes." I stands up and she gives me a kiss. Some of the other people in the restaurant 'awws' and I can't honestly remember one time I have been happier.

A little longer than usual. Over 700 words. (And If you count A/N parts over 800.)

Lol, starting this fanfiction I was like, "this might even be seven chapters" and now I just, "lets start writing part 26!"😂

Although I have no idea where I am going with this fanfiction.😬

I'm going to make a new cover to this story. I don't like the one I have...
