You arrived at the night club where you worked.
“Sorry, I’m late!”
“It’s okay. Just hurry up, Ray covered for you and you’re the only one working till close.” Answered your boss.
Fuck. I forgot my clothes.
You peeled off your oversized t-shirt, revealing your black tube top and you threw on your bartender apron.
“Martini please.”
“Sure.”
You mixed up all the ingredients for the Martini and placed it on the counter.

As hours past, you continued making drinks and serve people.
While you cleaned the table, you heard someone say,
“Here’s a tip. Just cause you’re cute.”
You looked up to see a tall and muscular man laying down two twenty’s on the counter.
“The tip jar is over there.” You said as you used your head to point to the direction of the jar.
You continued to clean the table yet the guy still sat there.
“Is there anything else you need?”
“Give me a beer. Because real men drink beer.”
You snarled as you filled a glass up with beer.
“Here.”
You checked your phone.
4:13am.
You cleaned the counter again, and made your way to the back.
“Hey! Where ya going?”
You continued walking and tossed your apron in the laundry basket.
You gathered all your bags and made your way to the exit.
“Hey.” Said the guy who grabbed your arm, causing your make up kit to fall.
“Shit.” You breathed as you croutched down and quickly cleaned up your stuff.“Sorry. Let me drive you home?”
“I’m fine.”
“I said I’ll drive you home.”
“And I said I was fine.”
You shook the guy off and continued walking.
He stopped you again on the side walk, this time squeezing your wrist.
“Hey.. let’s start over. I’ll give you a ride, okay?”
You tried to wiggle out of his graps, but his grip was too strong.
“Leave me alone! I said I was fine!” you yelled
You continued struggling as he tried to pull you his direction.
“Leave her alone.” Said a voice
You looked up to see Lee Joon.
“I think she said she was fine. So get out of here.”
“And if I don’t?” replied the man.
“And if you don’t, I’ll just have to kick your ass.” Joon calmly said as he flexed his arms.
“You know what, she’s not even worth it.” He said slowly backing up
“Yeah, that’s right.” Joon mumbled.
You looked up at Joon.
“Why haven’t you gone home? I offered to give you a ride. It’s dangerous for a girl like you to be out here at night. Especially when you’re not wearing a shirt.”
You looked down at your tube top.
“This is a shirt..” you mumbled.
“Get in.”
“No. I’m fine.You can leave.”
“You almost got attacked and you expect me to let you go off alone?”
“Joon. It’s fine. I’m fine, okay?”
“At least let me go with you and make sure you get home safely.”
“Joon.” You said sternly
“Noona.” He replied.
“Fine.” You sighed
“But first, stop calling me Noona.”
You two began walking slowly towards the direction of your home.
“But you are my Noona..”
“I was born in the same year as you, just 12 days before you… a year ago.. I’m not a noona.”
“So you were born in 1987..”
“Yes.”
“On January 24th?”
“Yes.”
“Twelve days before my birthday, February 7th?
“Mhmm.”
“Technically.. For us Koreans, you’re a noona to me.. but I’ll stop calling you Noona then. Noona.” He giggled
You shot him a dirty look.
“So, what do I call you?”
“I don’t know, _____________. My name?”
“Okay. And since you can’t call me Oppa, call me Jagiya.”
“Jagiya? What does that mean?” you questioned
“Uhh it’s what you call a younger male. But you can only call me that because we’re close now.”
You pondered on that thought.
My Korean teacher never taught me that..
You arrived at your apartment.
“Thanks for walking me home.”
“Anytime, ______.”
You smiled and bowed.
“Bye jagiya!”
“Bye, ___________.” Said Joon as you walked into your apartment.
