Sunstone trekked thought the Kindergarten with the computer. The small lights from the computer were just bright enough for Sunstone to see what was in front of her. Nothing but dead Earth so far. Sunstone walked a little farther, then she plopped the computer on the ground. A small, but useful distraction. Now to go back to the temple to discuss plan B. If there was a plan B.

Sunstone made it to the temple where her friends were waiting.
"Did you fix the problem?" Tiger's Eye asked. "What about Yellow Diamond, is she on her way?" Moonstone asked. "And if she is what do we do?" Purple Sapphire asked. "Yeah!" Aqua agreed with Purple. "I don't know!!" Sunstone yelled out, her feet starting to melt the floor. "I... I... I just...don't..know." Sunstone whispered, starting to cool off again. Her friends stared in silence. "Then, what will we do?" Aqua asked. "Lets.. let's figure that out, first, we need the others." Moonstone nodded. "I'm on it, I'll be back." Moonstone said, walking to the warp. Sunstone sat on the couch, thinking to herself. "What if we... no... Maybe we could.. no, definitely not. What if we... no. There's no use." Sunstone rambled to herself. Aqua though as well, but on another matter. How did the message get sent in the first place? That was the most important question, aside from trying to figure out how to survive. Moonstone warped back in with Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Peridot, and Lapis. "Fusion! Garnet said it, and it's the perfect plan to beat the diamonds!" Moonstone shouted. Sunstone thought to herself. "Its not a bad idea, but we need to choose the strongest formations. If I fuse with Ruby, we would be likely to burn stuff, so maybe us and Amethyst. Amethyst looked forward. "That would be AWESOME!" She shouted. "And Peridot, Sapphire, and Tiger's Eye, would be a very intelligent fusion, and the future vision would help in battle." Sunstone said rather quietly. Garnet nodded in agreement. "And lastly, Moonstone, Lapis, Purple Sapphire, and Pearl. A strong, elegant group, with sharp skills, and perfect formation." Sunstone said. Pearl nodded. "What about me?" Steven asked from the side. "Fuse with Connie, and use Lion to protect this temple." Garnet said in her stone cold voice. Hex stood from the side thinking. A small grin on his face. "They won't stand a chance." He said to himself. Hex felt a sensation, like someone was watching him, and someone was. Garnet had her gaze fixed on him, watching under her glasses with a dissapointing look. Hex looked at her for a second, then he dashed off. Sunstone was thinking if the fusions will work. "Lets train tomorrow." Sunstone said. All the gems nodded. The gems needed time to rest, so they all stayed at this temple, because the Diamonds have no clue that this place exists. Amethyst and Peridot slept together on the floor. Sunstone went to her room, as did Purple, Aqua went to her room as well. Lapis followed Moonstone to her room. Garnet went to the corner of the room, and sat down. Pearl slept on the couch. Tiger's Eye went to her room. Connie came over, and slept on the floor with Steven. Hex was off somewhere else, outside. Hex stood on the porch looking at the stars. "Soon I'll meet you, my Diamond." He said. Little did Hex know, a horrified figure watched him from the side. "H-Hex..." Aqua said shocked. Hex looked at her and grinned before walking inside to his room. Aqua was horrified. She couldn't tell if that was real, or if it was part of a weird nightmare.

"What do you mean?" Sunstone asked confused as ever. "I don't trust Hex, he... he seems weird." Aqua said. "He's twelve, of course he's weird, he's probably going through human puberty." Sunstone said bluntly. "No, he's not normal." Aqua replied bitterly. "Wha- Aqua! How can you say that?" Sunstone said with a shocked face. "No I mea-" Aqua was cut off by a steaming Sunstone. "Steven was just like him, and you don't have a problem with Steven!" Sunstone shouted irritably. "Sunstone, you don't get it, I'm trying to tell you-" Sunstone cut Aqua off again. "Tell me what Aqua?" Sunstone asked smugly. "That kid is evil!" Aqua shouted. Sunstone stormed. Her feet melted the ground, and her hair flamed. "What!?" Sunstone shouted at Aqua. Sunstone slapped Aqua in the face. Aqua fell to the ground, then Aqua summoned her weapon. "I'm sorry Sunstone." She said before taking a slice at Sunstone's face with her katana. Sunstone's steaming orange gem fell into Aqua's hands. "I'll tell you later, for now, I'll keep you safe." Aqua bubbled Sunstone's gem, and held it. Garnet stood by with an unreadable look. "Oh, hi Garnet, I'll explain everything." Aqua said. Garnet looked on. "No need, I saw everything, Sunstone will just have to accept the fact soon. I hoped that it wouldn't come to that, but, Sunstone is even more hot headed than Ruby." Garnet summed up. Aqua wanted to laugh, but she kind of just poofed her friend. "I'm sorry Aqua, maybe Steven might be able to help the kid, in the mean time, Sunstone should stay in the temple." Garnet said. Aqua nodded in agreement.
