Forever Mine

Chapter 3

I felt consciousness slowly coming back to me, but I was so weak and in so much pain that I couldn't even open my eyes. Then I heard voices in the room with me, "Roman was all of that really necessary?" It was a soft soothing female voice. "Necessary! Are you kidding me if you two hadn't of walked in I would have killed him! He could have killed her, he would have killed her!" I recognized that masculine  voice, he was yelling at the woman i heard speaking before. The fear of everything was coming back to me, I opened my eyes and felt my heart rate quicken. "After what he did to her I can't believe that you are actually going to let him live! He should be ripped into..." "Roman enough!" It was another male voice, that one I did not recognize. "I believe that your guest is waking up, your mother and I will leave you two alone." I heard the door open and then close and suddenly Roman was kneeling by the bed right in front of me.

My breath caught in my throat when I looked into his beautiful blue eyes. I could see so many emotions in them, there was pain, hurt, fear and anger all swirled into two amazing royal blue eyes. I could feel all of the emotions from just looking into them, it was so intense i felt like I could cry. "Jayde how are you, are you ok?" In his voice I heard all of the emotions that I saw in his eyes. I wanted to say none of your business, who do you care, leave me alone and many other things along those lines but I couldn't, not when I was looking into his eyes. "I don't know" was all I could force myself to say.

I couldn't lay down anymore, I tried to sit up against the headboard. Roman stood up to help me "I got it" I snapped. He repositioned himself back on the floor his eyes never leaving me. "Can I go home now?" He let out a long sigh and looked down at his hands "you cant". "You cant just kidnap me" he stood up and began pacing back and forth at the foot of the bed. "You keep saying that you cant let me go when in all honesty you really mean you wont let me go." He finally stopped and faced me, the anger blazing in his eyes. "No Jayde I cant, but I guess you are right because even if I could I wouldn't." I felt the fear again and Roman must have seen it on my face because the anger in his eyes quickly disappeared.

""Dammit Jayde I'm sorry". He ran his hands through his hair in frustration. "Sorry for yelling at you, sorry for Felix, sorry for earlier, sorry for everything. Its just so hard to control myself around you, I have waited for you for so long, since the day you were born. I have wanted so bad to see you, know you, hold you and now here you are and I still cant do any of those things". I found myself no longer angry or afraid, my curiosity getting the best of me, "wait... what are you talking about... what does all of that even mean"?
