A New Day

Jayla Pov
By the time I got up, Deion and Shay are gone. I didn't even say bye because if Ben bs. The twins and my Aunt and uncle went to church. I keep thinking about what happened last night. Sometimes I wish I could just move with Jazz but I can't. I hate it here. The only person who gets me is Deion and now he has gone back to college, at the time I need him the most.

I got up and start the shower, before I went to my dresser to pick out some clothes for today. I open my blinds I could see someone getting dress in the room next door to me. It look like Luke. He look like he is getting dress for church. He is so fine. I should have told him I also think he was cute, but I don't want to seem fast. It just he just came out with so many questions, and I didn't want to start up nothing. I just stared to make sure it was Luke. I couldn't help but to look at him, he is so sexy.
Luke Pov
I see Jayla as she picks some clothes out of her dresser and I couldn't tell if she was staring at me, but I hope she was. I should really put up some curtains. I never know when I'm changing and she walks by her window and see me naked. Well, maybe I shouldn't put up curtains. I don't care if Jayla looking at my sexy naked body. I shouldn't be thinking like this before I go to church. I have never been to church in my life, since my dad converted his religion to Christianity, I have to now go to church to please him and his wife.

"Luke you ready. " Jamie said, walking into my room like always.

"Yeah. Let go."I said, grabbing my keys. Hopefully this is not the church that is in movies, you know what I mean, they crazy churches that are all about Jesus. I just hope I can keep my mouth shut.
After church
Church is over and my dad and Rachel are back home.

"Hey. Jamie. "Rachel said, hugging her."I haven't seen you since you were 10."

"I know."Jamie said, hugging her back.

"Luke. You look just like your dad."Rachel said, walking up to me.

"Yeah. You would know." I said, getting smart.

"Luke. You know I'm not trying to take your mother's place." Rachel said staring into my eyes.

"Yeah. I guess." I said, trying to change the subject. But I didn't have to my dad walk in at the right time.

"John you and your son like just alike. " Rachel said making my dad laugh. I didn't think that was funny. I just I missed the joke.

"I know. He also acts like me. " My sad said, smiling at me as he wrap his arms around Rachel.

He knows what he doing, and he is making me mad. He knows that we both act the same. He knows I am his son and I know he my father. And I hate that. I could be his twin if was older looking.

"But that's not always a good thing." I said about my dad comment about us acting the same. "I'm my son, father." I said before leaving the living room and walking up to my room. I can't stand him, or his wife. I can't believe I'm his son.

"What was that about?" Jamie said, walking into my room.

"Nothing. I was just reminding are father that I am his son, so I can be a just as arrogant as him." I said taking off my suit and showing my chest and tattoo.

"Ooohhh. Dad is going to kill you." Jamie said looking at my tattoo.

"It The Star of David. He won't be that pissed." I said, putting on a white t."And he can't be mad if he doesn't know about it." I said, laying down on my bed. This is my body if I want to tattoo my body I will.

"I won't tell if you come join me and some of my friends. " Jamie said sitting next to me.

"I'm good. I take my chances. " I said smiling at Jamie. I know she wouldn't tell on me, she my little sister, and dad would trip more about her being bisexual.

"Please. It this girl name Sarah, and she cute and guess what? "Jamie asks me.

"What?" I said not guessing.
"She's a senior. " Jamie said, smiling at me as if that was a big thing.

"She's cute. " I ask Jamie before sitting up. I don't mind meeting new girls, I need to release some frustration, if you know what I mean.

"Yes and she smart. " Jamie said. I do love some smart girls.

I don't know no Sarah. I guess we don't have any classes together, since I am also a senior.

"I'm going because I have nothing better to do. " I said, getting up and putting on a different t.

"Finally. Let me get up for, you can change. " Jamie said, leaving the room to get ready. I just need to get out of this house.

Jayla Pov
The twins and Lia are back from church. Ben is gone to work and I am still sitting here alone. I got out of bed and walk outside to sit on the porch. I see Jamie and Luke walk out the door. I wave at them. Out the corner of my eye, I see Luke walking over to my house. "Hey Jayla."Luke said taking a sit next to me. I am a mess right now, I can't believed he is sitting next to me while I am dress like a thug.

Luke Pov
Walking out of the house I see Jayla sitting on the porch. I decided to ask her if she wants to tag along. I want to get to know about Jayla and plus I don't want to feel like the third wheel, even though Jayla is now the third wheel.

"Jayla would you like to join my sister and me? We are going to the mall." I ask Jayla as I took a seat next to her.

"Sure."she said, smiling. "Let me ask my aunt. " She said, standing up.

"I am in the car." I said as she walks inside her house. Hopefully her aunt said yes, and she will join us.

Jayla Pov
I can't believe Luke ask me if I want to hang with him and his sister. That was nice of him this will give me a chance to get to know him and his sister and hopefully his father.

"Aunt Lia can I go to the mall with some friends?" I ask her hopefully she says yes.

"Who might that be." She asks me.

"Jamie. She knew her and I'm going to show her around. " I said telling half the truth."She lives next door." I said.

"Okay, you can go, but don't be gone all night. "Aunt Lia said, kissing me on my cheek. I didn't tell here about Luke because I know she will flip. She doesn't want me to hang around no other boys then Rod and Deion, because of what happened with Dee and me. I basically cried over Dee for a month, because he cheated on me, but, I got over it. And we are now friends.
