*emeralds P.O.V*
Jason had just accepted my invitation to be added to his friends list on Skype when I decided to video call him. I know it sounds creepy and all talking to a guy you just met, but he sounds very familiar. Like ive known him before. that's really weird. I don't know anyone, not that I cant remember. I thought to myself.
"uhm hellooooooooooooo?" he said waving.
"Sorry I was just thinking, but you look so familiar." I said
"Didn't you say your name was parks? I had a sister but my mom just gave her up some day, ive been trying to find her for years and years." he said back.
"well I was adopted but no one ever told me about my old family so I guess it would be a mystery!" I said sadly.
Just then my "mom" came into my room.
"look whore, I heard you talking to some boy! I thought I told you, you arnt allowed to talk to anyone! you little ugly slut!" she yelled kicking my stomach and punching the side of my head.
"well if I didn't talk to someone for once id be just like "you" " I said using air quotations around you.
"THERES NO NEED TO BE RUDE YOU WORTHLESS SON OF A BITCH! YOUR GOING BACK TO THE ADOPTION CENTER!" she snapped at me.
"good, oh and by the way! im not a guy!" I yelled at her packing my stuff. Did Jason just see that?
"uhmm emerald? what just happened?" he said, I could swear he had a confused face.
"Ever heard of abuse? yeah that's what happened since the day I got adopted, no one knows but apparently you. I bet I just scared you off too, no one whats to be my friend!" I said crying into my hands.
"Look, im adopting you. What adoption center are you going to?" he said clearly truthfully.
"Only one is town is umm...Sunny siders? yep! that's where I got adopted..." I said popping the "p".
"Good, because you new and improved life has only began little sister!" he said with a sympathetic smile.
