Pietro's unable to be rushed to an actual hospital beings the fact that he's an Avenger. So instead, Steve and i rush him to the Avengers Headquarters, where Maria is more than ready for us.
"Get him here!" She demands. We get him on the table and im told to wait outside.
"No way in Hell is that happening!" i refuse as soon as im given my orders. This causes Clint Barton to come in and literally carry me out of the room.
"If you stop fighting this would be much easier." Clint tries to coax me into calming down.
"Let me back in there!" i demand.
"Haha! Very funny!" Clint laughs out. "Not gonna happen." i roll my eyes and groan. I end up pinned to a chair in the living room of Tony Stark's house.
"He is going to be perfectly fine." Maria announces happily as she comes to talk to me.
"So you saved him?" i ask, tears are still in my eyes.
"No." she begins. My eyes start watering some more. "We saved him. Together." she finishes.
"Oh thank God!" i gasp. She gives me a hug.
"Project saving Pietro is a success.!" She says with a smile one her face.
