Important Author's Note

Hey, guys! First off, I want to thank everybody for reading this story. I've been working really hard on it, even though stuff like life and school can get in the way sometimes. Thank you to the two people who have commented so far. I promise you I am working on the next chapter, but I've hit a major case of writer's block and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to break through.

I. Need. Your. Help.

Which brings me to my next point.

SPOILER ALERT: Hiccup does make it back to the village safely. I know I kind of threw him under the bus by making him put up with Magnus, but I would never let him get eaten. Anyway, when he gets back to the forge, Magnus and Gobber are arguing. Magnus doesn't know where Hiccup is, and is a breath away from getting a search party together to go look for him (yes, he's a bit of an overachiever). Gobber, on the other hand, is trying to tell Magnus what Hiccup is actually doing, and as such, there is no need for a freaking huge search party. Hiccup comes in and Magnus asks where he's been, at which point Hiccup spills the beans about the lion and the dragon.

Where I have stopped comes right after this little section right here: "Something in Magnus' expression hinted that the prospect of Hiccup dying wasn't that big of a tragedy, at least for him."

I have tried to get this to work for weeks now, and I have failed. I am BEGGING that somebody out there can think of what has evaded me for so long so that I can finally get this darned chapter published. Put your ideas in the comments and I will read them as soon as possible. I'd love to know what you guys think of the story so far.
