Entry 3

Dear Diary,
Today is the day. I'm going to try to heal Jaehin. Considering how bad the cancer is, I have to do it sparingly and make it seem like it was a medical miracle. Maybe I'll pretend to do her chemotherapy and try healing her instead.

In the mean time, Junmyeon has been sticking by my side. I mean, I don't mind. I'm kinda liking his company. The only bad thing is that he might have a wife. Why is it that all the good guys are taken?

Junmyeon grabbed Yixing's arm. "Are you sure you can heal her?"

Yixing smiled and squeezed Junmyeon's arm, "I thought I told you to trust me?"
Junmyeon pulled away, smiling sheepishly, "I'm sorry. It's just that she...she means the world to me."

Yixing nodded, "I can only imagine. How is your wife holding up?"

Junmyeon looked away, "S-She died when Jaehin was born."

"Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss."
Yixing felt terrible for the latter but he couldn't help but feel a little more hopeful, does this mean Junmyeon's single?

Snap out of it Xingie, his daughter has cancer for pete's sake. Yixing scolded himself before motioning to his office, "You're welcome to stay here until I'm done. It's better if you and your daughter stay out of sight for now."

Junmyeon nodded and walked back into Yixing's office, shutting the door softly behind him. Yixing stood up straight and took a deep breath. It was about time he stood up to the elders.
He walked to Jaehin's hospital room. A nurse was pulling some equipment into the room.

"You there! Stop."
The nurse looked up startled.
She bowed immediately when she saw who he was.
"Let me take care of this patient."

"But sir I-"

"She's my patient, and she trusts me. So let me do it." Yixing pulled out his 'commanding' voice. The nurse stumbled backwards and nodded. She bowed before walking away quickly.

Yixing smirked to himself and pushed the cart in the room. He smiled when he saw Jaehin looking out the window.
She had a fluffy unicorn in her hands and she was softly singing to herself.

"Hi baby? How are you feeling?" Yixing asked softly while sitting down on her bed.
Jaehin turned to him and smiled widely, "Hi Xingie! Look what daddy got me!"
She thrust the unicorn plushie in Yixing's face.
He laughed and petted the unicorn's head, "It's very cute."

Jaehin nodded and hugged the toy tightly. Yixing looked around to see if there was any one in the room.

"Sweetie, you have to listen to me. If anyone asks if you got your medicine, say yes."

Jaehin nodded, "I will say yes Xingie."

Yixing smiled and stroked her head, "Good girl."

Yixing took her small hand into his own. He held it tightly with two hands as he closed his eyes.
In seconds, he could feel the pain transferring from Jaehin to himself. Yixing clenched his teeth as pain radiated through his body. He held on for another thirty seconds, trying to ignore the pain.
He quickly let go and let out a deep breath. Yixing panted as he looked at Jaehin.
"Does it hurt as much?" He asked, still out of breath.

Jaehin shook her head. Yixing smiled, "Good. I have to go now but I'll be back tomorrow okay?"

Jaehin nodded and went back to playing with her toy. Yixing left the room silently and shut the door behind him.
He sighed in relief before pushing the medicine cart to his office.

He emptied the chemicals and placed the cart when it belonged before he headed back to his office. He knocked gently on the door before going inside. Junmyeon sat up quickly and walked towards him.

"How did it go doctor?"

Yixing smiled, "It went great."

"By the way, you can call me Yixing."
