Before the chapter, here are my thoughts from 5x21. Skip past if you haven't watched yet!

Firstly, thank God Killian's alive! I would'nt have lasted another week with him stuck in the underworld 😭 Their reunion was so fricken cute 😍 Emma kissing his cheek and his little giggle was the end of me ❤

Secondly, why did Robin have to die? Regina always gets the short straw and I don't understand A&E's reasonings for killing her true love off.

Lastly, can we all just agree that everyone cheered when Arthur died? 😂😂😂 And that everyone laughed when 'Zues' came onto our screens 😂😂😂

Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

The next day, everyone was back to work. The remains of Jack's crew had been disposed of and his ship had been emptied of any valuables. Hook had succeeded in awakening her crew from their unconsciousness, glad that none of her own would need burying at sea.

Hook, or so Killian now knew her as Emma, was standing by the wheel of her ship, steering them towards their next destination. Emma may have taken an interest in Killian, but that didn't mean her true goal had been destroyed.

For centuries, Hook had been searching for a way to kill the man she hated most; Rumplestiltskin, as she had grown to know him by. This man was the reason she no longer was Emma Swan. He killed her first love and took her hand, and for that, she wanted to return the favour. However, there was a barrier. Rumplestiltskin was the Dark One; the most powerful sorcerer ever known.

Hook had tried and tried to find the way to end the Dark One's life, but alas, he was immortal, and Hook had fallen upon many dead ends. Hopefully, this next road would not end as all the others had.

Killian came above deck, the colour back in his face. He wore a new bandage on his wound and a sling since his injured arm was too weak to work. The sun shone down on the ship and the sparkling of the waves resembled his eyes almost perfectly.

He walked over to where Emma stood. "Morning, Swan." He smiled to her and she tried to hold back one herself. Don't let those walls down so soon, Emma. Think for once. She thought to herself.

"I told you to not call me that around the crew, sailor." Hook snapped. Emma's change in tone from the night before shocked Killian, but he didn't press too hard on the subject. He didn't want to ruin anything. He liked Emma alot, he wanted whatever they had to work, even if that meant going very slowly.

"Sorry, Captain. Won't happen again." Killian said, a smirk plastered on his face behind her back. "May I ask where we are heading?" He asked, running his free hand through his thick hair.

"It's called Tortuga Island. Jack, the guy who shot you yesterday, took me there once." Hook's eyes flickered to Killian's shoulder as she talked, a slight look of guilt shadowing her face. She snapped out of her trance and carried on talking. "It's a nice place. But who I'm looking for will make our stay even nicer. That is if they can give me what I want."

"Who are you looking for?" Killian said, hoping he wasn't pushing it too far with the questions. Unfortunately, he had, and Emma shut him down.

"I think that's enough questions for one day, Killian. Go back down to my cabin, rest more." Emma ordered, her eyes leaving Killian's and looking out to the sea.

"But, I'm fi-"

"I don't care what you say, go away or you can go have a swim." Emma said, finishing the conversation bluntly. She hadn't meant what she'd said, she'd grown too attached to the blue eyed sailor to just let go and toss him over board. She wanted him to stay with her, but she didn't recognise the person she was when she was around him. It angered her, even, to see herself care about someone so much.

Killian listened to her and decided it would do him no good arguing with the best sword fighter he'd ever met. So he went back below deck towards Hook's room, leaving the rest of the crew to do his work for him.

Dinner came and Hook went to wake Killian. She was unsurprised when she found him sitting on the seat under the window, completely and utterly awake. He was watching the stars form in the sky as darkness fell.

"Dinner." She barked. He jumped in his seat, shocked by the sudden noise. Emma turned to leave the room with Killian following not too far behind.

Before they entered the dining room however, Killian grabbed Emma's arm. She whipped around to face him and gave him a questioning look.

"What?" She asked.

"I was worried I had said something, you acted differently this morning than you did last night." He said, it had been wracking his brain all day.

"Who you witnessed last night was not me. I simply had not got enough sleep and was acting different. Don't get used to me giving you any special treatment. Tomorrow you'll be back to work like everyone else." Killian lifted his eyebrow at her, thinking she was joking. Everything Emma had said was a lie. That person he had witnessed was who she really was, she just was scared to admit it. Instead, she looked at him sternly and entered the dining room. He followed.

When Hook entered, the rest of the crew cheered, lifting their mugs at her. Her first mate, Smee, patted her back and she sat down beside him. Killian recognised Smee from when he first arrived on the Jolly Roger. He sat down next to one if his crew mates.

"What's your name, newbie?" The man asked, he had a silver ring through his nose and his dirty blonde hair pulled back into a man-bun. He doesnt seem to bad, Killian thought.

"Killian Jones." He replied, shaking the strangers outstretched hand. "And you are?"

"Chris Morgan." Chris said after taking a gulp of a dark liquid from his mug.

"Nice to meet you, Chris." Killian said. He picked up a chicken leg from the table in front of him and took a mighty bite out of it, enjoying the juicy meat.

"I'd be careful, Killian." Chris said. His voice suddenly very stern. Killian was confused by what his new companion meant.

"Careful about what? Is the chicken dodgy or something?"

"You know what I mean. Nothing good ever came to a man who went after that woman." And with that, Chris turned to one of his other friends. Killian didn't understand what Chris meant by his warning, nevertheless, he still stored it in the back of his mind.

Over the rest of the night, Killian introduced himself to many more people and gained some friends. They didn't, however warn him vaguely about the Captain like Chris.

They all drank until no one was sober enough to get up and go looking for more alcohol. Eventually, they all started to leave the room to go to sleep.

Killian got up from his seat and began to walk drunkenly to the sleeping quarters with the rest of the crew. Suddenly, Hook grabbed at his shoulder and began to tugg him away from the crowd and into a dark broom cupboard. Once inside, she turned on the light, blinding Killian's drunken state.

"Why hello, Swan." He slurred to her. She smiled hungrily at him.

"Why hello to you too." She said. Before Killian could say anything else, Emma's lips were on his. At first he was surprised, but the alcohol took over him and he joined in too.

They grew passionate as the kiss became more heated. Emma began to unbutton Killian's shirt. He did the same to her.

They spent the night together.

What Killian didn't know was Emma had not drunk a drop of alcohol.
