THE BASEMENT

I jump up and grab Arianna. We hug tightly, and then I kiss her. Then Kenzie and Aiden get up and hug her too. Kenzie leaves to grab something, and comes back with a few glasses and a bottle of sparkling cider, the closest thing to champagne teens can have, and we toast. Then we finish our movie, and all attack amazon trying to find clothes, furniture, pacifiers, bottles, and food. We find everything we need, except for clothes, because Arianna wants to put that off until we know the gender. Then we all go into the guest bedroom and start clearing it out and moving the things into the storage room. And now we wait for the new furniture to come in. The next morning we wake up and Kenzie is making pancakes and waffles for our breakfast. Arianna was still asleep on the couch, holding my old teddy bear named pandie ( he was a panda). I gave her a blanket and started a fire in the fireplace and sat down next to her. After stroking her face for a few seconds she wakes up. She looks up at me and smiles. "We're going to be parents." she says. " I know." I tell her. Then I lean down and kiss her. Kenzie calls us in for breakfast. When Aiden doesn't come in she walks into the living room with a piece of sizzling bacon, and slaps him with it.  He wakes up with a start and screams because of the hot bacon on his face. Kenzie laughs and tells him to hurry to the table. her parents came down to tell us that they would be moving out, and the house was all ours. They said that a friend of theirs had died and left them the house. The house had all the furniture in it still so they didn't have to pack anything except clothes and a few personal or important belongings. They say goodbye and leave the house. And we watch the UPS truck pull up right as they leave. Arianna flips because she has all her stuff and we start to set up the baby's room.
