Jack's POV

I smiled as I looked up from the stove to see Mark playing Chica. It was adorable. It was also really nice to see him happy. I then got back to cooking. I was making us some spaghetti.

I stirred the pasta and then got to making the sauce. I had already defrosted the meat and chopped it into smaller chunks, it had been cooking for a while so i could pour the sauce in and stirred them together. After I was finished cooking dinner I pulled out a couple plates and forks. I set them down by the pot with the spaghetti.

"Dinner's Ready!" I yelled into the living room.

Mark jumped up from the couch with Chica following him, wagging her tail happily. I put some spaghetti on my plate and walked over to the table and sat down. Mark followed suit and after dinner he went upstairs to change. I grabbed my backpack and changed in the downstairs bathroom.

I hummed as I walked into the living room where Mark was. He was wrapped up in a big, white fuzzy blanket. Chica was asleep on the floor in front of him. I smiled and sat down next to him. He opened up the flap of his blanket and wrapped me in it as well. He snuggled up to my side and my smile grew even wider. I swear sometimes he to cute for his own good.

I drapped my arm over his shoulders. Mark looked up at me and smiled. Then he grabbed the remote for his tv and turned on The Nightmare Before Christmas. I was watching in silence and so was Mark until the first song came on. He started singing along quietly with it, I have never heard anyone sing. It was as beautiful as him!

He finished singing several moments later and looked up at me. I kissed his forehead and pet his hair a bit. "That was really impressive Mark!"

He blushed a deep red and thanked me.

I think it was at least half way through the movie when I heard a soft snore come from Mark. I chuckled and pulled more of the blanket over him. Mark smiled in his sleep as he snuggled into the blanket. I soon grew tired and fell asleep as well.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mark must have gotten up before me because I woke up on the couch in the blanket alone. I looked at my phone and saw that it 8:30, a perfect time for breakfast.
I took a deep breath and smelled something wonderful coming from the kitchen. I stood up, stretched, and I draped the blanket around my shoulders. I walked into the food making room of happiness to see Mark huddled over the stove. He turned around at the sound of my footsteps and chuckled when he saw me. I laughed a bit when Chica started to fluff up the part of the blanket that was on the ground behind me.
"Sleep well?" Mark asked as he flipped the  pancake he was making. I nodded and kneeled down to pet Chica. She rubbed her head up against my leg and I kept scratching her ears until Mark had finished making breakfast.
After breakfast Mark suggested a snowball fight.
I smirked. Back home I was the reigning champion of my neighborhood.
"Hell yeah! Winner gets to make the loser do whatever they want for a week."
"You're on." He reached out to shake my hand, sealing the deal.
