Sorry I haven’t updated in awhile! Things have been crazy and to be honest I’m not getting a lot of responses to my stories. I did get asked to update this story so here you go! Thanks
Chapter 2:
“Am I supposed to know you?” Damon asked in his normal I really don’t care voice. He doesn’t know who I am; this could be good for awhile.
“Guess not. But I know all about you and your little brother Stephan see I’m here to help you with your problems since you can’t seem to be able to take care of them yourself.” I’ve got a bit of an attitude, which will drove Damon crazy. I heard a car pull up in the drive way behind me, Stephan, would he recognize me? I slightly turned my head to see Stephan getting out of the car. He flashes up to the porch were I am standing; I have my back to him.
“Damon, I didn’t know we were having company.” Stephan commented, still not seeing my face. I turn my head to face Stephan and he looks at me for a minute, I smirk at him, and next thing I know I’m being pulled into a hug. I laugh and hug Stephan back; at least someone hasn’t forgotten me. He finally put me down and he looks at me like I’ m going to disappear before his eyes if he doesn’t watch me.
“It’s nice to see you too Stephan, at least one of the Salvatore brothers remembers me.” I shot Damon a look who looked confused.
“Nikki, I thought you died. I was there…” Stephan whispered, we both were trying to not remember that horrible memory that has haunted us both for hundreds of years.
“I’ll explain later, right now I’m here to help you with your problems here in MysticFalls.” I walked into the house with them following me; I could sense Damon staring at me.
“So, who all is involved in this? The whole town, humans, vampires, witches? “ I sat down on the couch, looking at them to tell me what I need to know. My phone vibrates, I pull it out and unlock it, I had a text message:
Blocked number: You better be careful love
I looked at my phone and quickly locked my phone back, I’d deal with this later.
“We aren’t telling you anything till you tell us who you are and what you want. If you don’t I’ll kill you myself. I’m not in the mood to put up with this today.” Damon growled out, someone’s cranky.
“Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.” I smirked and got up off the couch, I walked over to Stephan and Damon, the girl was behind them both. She looked exactly like Katherine, this must be the girl who all this trouble is over. Damon tries to pin me against the wall, I quickly duck and pin him against the wall by his throat, I know my eyes changed from my normal brown to gold.
“Now that wasn’t very nice Damon. That’s not the way you treat women, especially since the time period you where raised in, I expect more out of you two boys.” My voice had become calm and sweet, my eyes had returned to their normal brown color. I let him go, never letting my eyes leave his.
“Now, I take it this is Elena correct?” I asked looking at Stephan for an answer.
“Yes.” I looked at her, she might look like Katharine, but I could tell this girl isn’t like her yet. She’s been through a lot, but she is following the same path as Katharine did. She has something with both of the brothers, they both love her. Does history always have to repeat itself with these two?
“Well Elena it’s a pleasure to meet you. Sorry about all that with Damon, he’s always been the one who tries to be all tough and scary, it’s quite annoying really. Anyway, I hope I didn’t freak you out. I’m Nikki by the way.” I smiled at her and she returned it and laughed at my comment about Damon which is spot on.
“Nice to meet you Nikki, how do you know the boys though?” She asked, trying to not be rude. I laughed, I wonder if they would want her to hear this story. She might change her opinion of all of us after hearing my story.
“Now that Elena is a very long, complicated, and drama filled story. Maybe later I’ll tell you, as of now I must go look around MysticFalls, meet people etc. Stephan, Damon? Would you like to join me? I’d invite Elena along but I don’t think you’d like her tagging along for what we’ll be doing.” I smiled at Elena, telling her goodbye and walked out of the boarding house.
