My Lover or My Enemy?

River View Concert

The year is 2013, the same year My Chemical Romance broke up

"Hey mom, can I go to the concert by the river?"
"Who's playing?"
"Only My Chemical Romance"
"Then, yeah, you can go."
"There's a fee to get in"
"How much is it?"
"Only $20, and I'm planning on going by myself"
"Get me my purse"
I walk into the kitchen and get her purse and I hand it to her, she opens it up and takes out a $50
"I know you like getting the merch and stuff so you have an extra $30 to get a tshirt or something"

I walk to her and give her a hug, "Thank you so much, mom!"
"You're welcome, Skylar"

I take the money and go up to my room and get a bag ready: I put in a blanket, a fruit water, a sandwich, my keys, and my phone.

As I grab my phone it goes off: Twitter: @epDannyEdge: I'm going to a local concert to see My Chemical Romance

I think to myself, maybe I will see him. No one usually comes to these things.

Then I grab my bag and head out the door and into my car. And I drive for about 15 minutes until I get to the little field with a small stage, I se lights strung through all the trees and i see my favorite band setting up.

I get out of my car and i set up my blanket almost right in the middle of the entire place, then I walk back to the parking lot and I pay the admission. I walk back to the blanket area and I see Danny and Paul set up their blanket right next to mine.

I will not approach them, maybe they will approach me, ooh maybe they will need to share my blanket. Their's looks pretty small. I need to stop making up scenarios in my head that will never happen.

I walk over and see that their blanket is actually overlapping onto mine. I walk over to my bag, grab my phone out of it and plop myself down on my blanket.

"Hey, I'm Danny" I hear to my right
I turn my head and look at him, and I see Paul standing right next to him
"And I'm Paul"
I stand up and take the few steps to stand in front of them.
"Hi, I'm Skylar"
"I'm sorry our blanket is kinda on yours, we were hoping we could share your blanket with you, my idiot of a friend got one that was too small for the both of us to sit on" Danny said

I knew it

"Yea, you guys can share"
"Thanks, would you rather me or him sit next to you then?" Paul asked
"Actually Danny"

Then Paul just had a saddened look on his face, "I wanted to sit next to the pretty girl"
"You lose, sucker!" Danny yelled as I sat down and he sat down next to me

I scroll through my phone for a few minutes before i start thinking to myself again:

I should try and get his phone number, I mean he seems to think I'm pretty, and I'm madly in love with him, then you should speak up Skylar. Yes, I'm aware, but i don't know if it'll backfire. Just do it.

"I watch you on YouTube" I decided to say,

Wow, creepiest thing you could say, nice going.

"Do you like it?"
"Well yeah, I actually wanted to know if i could get your phone number"
"Well do you want mine or Paul's, cause i mean you might be a Paul kind of girl"
"I know that most girls like Paul better than you, but I find you WAY more likable"
"Then let me see your phone, I'll put myself in there"
"While you're at it, can you like sign my phone too?"
"I guess so"

I hand him a sharpie and let him put in his phone number in and then took my case of and signed my phone then gave it back to, when he gave it back his hand brushed on mine and i nearly died.

"So how long have you been a Pointer?"
"Since your 2nd video upload"
"What about the 1st one?"
"Well that was Paul's video and to be honest i thought it was a bunch of bullshit"
"And now I'm guessing you would prolly die for me"
"Yea"

After I said that he scooted towards me, and I moved a little closer to him.

This is going good so far, just make it to where I can talk to him more, what should I say?

"What's your favorite My Chemical Romance Song?"
"Famous Last Words" then he paused, "What's yours?"
"Welcome To The Black Parade, I am in love with it"
"That's the one that sort've sounds like a Christmas song in the middle right?"
"Yea, I've heard Famous Last Words before, its a pretty good song in my opinion"

Then there was a long awkward pause, but I still wanted to get to know him more. He spoke up before I did.

"Do you live around here?"
"Only like 15 minutes away, do live close?"
"Just around the corner from here"
"What you're saying is, I only live 15 min away from my idol?"
"Apparently"

Paul then looks up from his phone. Then he whispers something into Danny's ear, when he was done Danny leaned over to me,
"Paul thinks that you are very pretty and he wants your phone number"
"Can you just forward it to him?"
"I could but thats a lot of work"
"Do it later?"
"Sure"

Then Danny looks at Paul and nods, and Paul smirks at me
