It reeked,of rotting animals and smoke.I wish I were back in the rain forest eating that boar Clay had.Morrowseer,Starflight's kidnapper,walked by,being his usual grumpy self.He curled up in a corner grumbling and went to sleep."Cmon,"whispered Fatespeaker,"Let's go explore!". "But,Morrowseer...." Starflight said worriedly."Oh that old grump is asleep now.Come on!" Starflight sighed,then nodded his head. Fatespeaker took off running down the corridor of hot rocks. Starflight glanced around nervously,then took off after her.Starflight bumped into Fatespeaker not one hundred feet from the bedding room."What is it?" Starflight asked. "Look," Whispered Fatespeaker, pointing to a mess of ash.But it seemed as if it were covering something..."There!" Fatespeaker said,almost too excitedly.She pushed her head through the hole in the wall,tucked her wings in,and slid through with ease."Cmon Starflight,"She said,poking her head out of the hole.Starflight went in after her.Heat blasted into Starflight's face,nearly sending reeling back into the hole.There was a bridge of rocks over a lava lake. Starflight stumbled,but righted himself.There was a rocking feeling in the ground."Fatespeaker,it's not safe here." said Starflight anxiously."Why n-" Her sentence was interrupted by a huge shake in the bridge that sent her flying off the edge."Fatespeaker!!!" yelled Starflight."I-I'm ok" said Fatespeaker,shaking and flying up towards the bridge.Starflight ran and Fatespeaker flew towards the entrance.They both ran in and flew out of the hole,smashing into the wall in front of them.A mob of Nightwings was rushing through the corridor."Run for your lives!"Yelled one."The volcano is gonna erupt!!"Screamed another.Rushing and holding onto Fatespeaker,they flew out into the open,and to their dismay,they saw the volcano pouring out smoke.They both flew across the black sand beach,just narrowly avoiding the molten rocks flying towards them.Fatespeaker's wing got singed by one.All of a sudden,they saw Nightwings rushing toward the tunnel leading from the Nightwing island to the rainforest.They scrunched into the panicked,hurrying line.When they got up to the front,Sunny yelled,"Starflight!You're okay!!" "We need to go.Now." Said Starflight."What're the Nightwings doing anyways?" "They're pledging their oath to Queen Glory." "Ha," Starflight softly laughed,"Queen Glory,queen of the Rainwings and the Nightwings." "Haha,yeah,"said Sunny."But right now we should get out of he-" before she could finish,the volcano erupted.The Nightwings stopped talking and started screaming."Run Sunny!Fatespeaker!"Yelled Starflight,grabbing their talons and running.They ran into the rain forest .The fire won't reach me here,will it?Starflight thought."Go get help Sunny.Fatespeaker,go with her.""Ok." They both said in unison. They ran,but Starflight stayed and made sure that all the Nightwings got out safely.Once they were all out of the tunnel,Starflight started to go back to the rainforest,when the fire and ash exploded through the tunnel."Ackk!" Starflight yelled,covering his eyes."STARFLIGHT" yelled Clay,as he came and tried to shield Starflight from the smoke.But it was too late.
