When evil comes she turns up the heat. Her nickname is the "Flame-Haired Red-Hot-Eyed Hunter". She's so concentrated on her duty as a flame haze she doesn't bother on having a name. That's until she meets a boy (Yuji) who carries a treasure, names her 'Shana' after her katana. Shana doesn't think of Yuji as a person but as an object instead. However, she slowly opens up to Yuji, coming to think of him as a person, despite being a Torch, and eventually comes to love him.
Shana is my one of my favorite female characters because she's such a badass. Not only she's awesome in combat but she also a great student. She's highly intelligent, she gets perfect scores on every exam and is talented in Phys. Ed. Shana is pretty naive when it comes to human things like once she asked "how babys are made" lol. She can be strong but she has her moments of vulnerability. She comes to accept humans slowly , and even develops human emotions , like Jealousy .. Even though Kazumi Yoshida is her love-rival for Yuji, Shana treats her with contempt and disdain. (Pretty mature right? If I had to befriend my love rival I don't know how I would act around her.... I think I'll be pretty bitchy tbh.)
She has a habit of saying "Urusai! Urusai! Urusai!" ("Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!) and likes eating sweets, especially MELON BREAD!!!!! throughout the whole series.
