"Y-yes." he stuttered.
My eyes widened and I immediately let go of his hand. His hand dropped to his side and I looked down at my hands on my lap. I did not expect that coming. He sighed and sat down on my bed.
"Miyoung, ever since I saw you at school, I knew something was different about you." he said.
"Yeah, different as in quiet and weird." I mumbled.
"No," he said lifting my chin, "I knew you were special. You never took things for granted, you always overworked yourself and you always helped others especially when they got injured."
My eyes locked with his and I started thinking about what he said. Obviously I would do that. I couldn't help my mother at home so I would help others I could actually help. I never thought someone would've remembered my face, but I guess he did. I sighed and looked back down.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I-I don't know if I trust you yet." I whispered.
Wait, that's not what I meant. I trust him but I can't trust myself to be in a relationship with him. He stood up and walked out the door.
"Wait! Taehyung!" I shouted, getting out of bed, ignoring the pain it was giving me. My legs were weak from not walking for three days but I forced myself to walk. I opened the door and walked down the hallway, finding which room he went into. I peeked into a room with an open door and saw Jungkook looking at his laptop screen with headphones on.
"Oh! Noona!" he said, taking off his headphones.
"Have you seen Taehyung?" I asked.
"No, he might be in the living room." he said.
I smiled and walked out to the living room.
"Noona! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT OF BED?!" Jimin yelled.
"I'm looking for Taehyung. Where did he go?" I asked.
"He just went out." Dahee replied.
I nodded and slipped on a pair of gigantic flip flops that was sitting there.
"Miyoung-ah! You can't go outside! Your scars will reopen!" Jin oppa shouted from the kitchen. I ignored him and walked outside with the oversized flip flops on. I rode the elevator down and stopped at the door. I was already out of breath but I needed to find Taehyung.
I walked outside and was immediately surrounded by heavy traffic. I looked to the left and saw a park. Maybe he went there. So I started to walk. I crossed the street and strolled through the park, trying to enjoy the fresh air and trying to find Taehyung at the same time. I was reaching the end of the park when I saw a fenced off area. It had a big sign "No Trespassing" plastered on it but the fence was open. I slipped in before anyone could see me. I walked inside and was immediately filled with fear. Was I going to get caught? Were there guards? I quickly looked around but saw no one. I looked down and saw footprints in the dirt so I followed them wherever they led to. I eventually found a little lake in a cave with barely any light inside. I didn't know the city would have things like this. No wonder why it was blocked off. I carefully walked into the cave, looking around.
I heard water dripping at a distance so I continued to follow the sound. I was scared but curious, I wanted to see what was inside. It got darker and darker until there was no light. I pulled out my phone and turned on the flashlight, hoping that no bats would fly into my face. I pointed the flashlight upwards only to be met by dark brown eyes staring at me. I yelped in surprise and dropped my phone on the ground, the flashlight automatically turning off. Great.
"What are you doing here?" he said in a low voice.
"I-I followed you here. Well, I didn't physically follow you here. I saw you run to the park, well I didn't see you run to the park I just thought you would've gone to the park. And then I started roaming around and I saw the gate open so I slipped in and followed you here, I mean your footprints here." I explained.
I didn't know how he would react, especially if I couldn't see his facial expressions. I was cringing, waiting for his response. He sighed and I felt him hold my hand. I looked down at my hand, hoping to see that it was his hand and not some random thing that just started holding me but I couldn't see.
"What I said in your room, I didn't mean that. I meant that I didn't trust-" I started to explain but his grip tightened around my hand and he started walking.
"Wait! My phone!" I said.
"I'll get you a new one." he mumbled.
He dragged me out of the cave quickly and we walked back out to the park. He was still holding my hand and he was still dragging me. I couldn't walk as fast as him in the big flip flops I was wearing.
But a few minutes later, we arrived back in their apartment. He slipped off his shoes and I kicked mine off before he could drag me any further. He walked into the room I was staying in and pushed me against the wall, kicking the door shut. He pushed his lips onto mine and I stood there in shock. My eyes were wide open but his eyes were closed. His lips molded with mine, and it gave me a comforting feeling, like I was safe. My eyes closed by themselves and I wrapped my arms around his neck, his hands traveling to the back of my waist. But I flinched, my scars were sensitive. He pulled away and looked at me.
"Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" he asked, gently lifting up my shirt to look at the white cotton wrapped around my tummy.
"I'm fine, Taehyung." I whispered, pulling my shirt back down.
He sighed and turned around, running a hand through his hair.
"Was that okay? I'm sorry for pushing it on you." he said.
"It's fine. I liked it." I mumbled.
"You liked it? But do you trust me?" he asked.
"Yes, I trust you." I replied.
