Chapter 17 Déjà vu

China:

     Monica been in the hospital for damn near a week. She was shot 5 times. I can't believe this shit is really happening I haven't been in the streets I haven't been checking on the money or nothing. Cause a nigga whole world stop when they put Monica on life support. Nia called a nigga a couple of times and I been ignoring her to. Mike walks in the room with some food

"Come on Chi u gotta eat something I know shit crazy right now but u gotta eat."

I'm not in the mood for food but I ate it anyway I haven't ate in two damn days.

"So mike what's the word on the trap houses and the money?"

"Well the money flowing in like clock work but shit been coming up missing cause niggas ain't seen you around I think u need to let these niggas know You still here and ain't shit soft about u."

"Yea u right I'm gone meet up with you tonight and we gone make a couple rounds I gotta get back to the money so I can make sure Monica stays on life support"

Mike gave me some dap and left. I gotta get back out there cause I gotta pay out my pocket for Monica hospital bill the insurance only cover so much. My phone starts ringing its Nia I step out the room to answer.

"What's up Beautiful?"

"What's up is I haven't heard from u since u took me out of town are u ok is my first question?"

"Yea I'm fine I just been busy working u know the streets never sleep."

"Yea I understand."

It gets real silent I know it's more she wanna say but it's some shit she can't say over the phone.

"Look Nia we can meet up for dinner tomorrow around 8 I come pick u up just shot me a address do that work for you?"

"Yes it does I will make sure to send u the address tomorrow be safe out here and make sure u eat something."

She hangs up before I could say anything else. I been trying to ignore the fact that she has been on my mind and that I really do like her. I shake my head and go back in the room with Monica. And before I know it I'm sleep.

        Mike:

So I wasn't completely honest with China I knew who Nia was when I layed eyes on her. she was Tony sister but I wasn't to sure what she was to King and that's my Right hand mans. I knew him way before I knew China and my loyalty was to him. But China has gained that as well. I didn't know what the fuck I was going to do.

  I had to figure it out cause you can't play both sides that shit gets u killed and I'm not ready to die. I got to much money to make and to many bitches to fuck. I could have sworn his sister name was Denise I need to do some more Digging.

  I finally landed in Detroit I missed my brother and my sister. Being away at school was taking a toll on me and all I wanted was to be around my family. When I landed Tony and Nia was there to pick me up when I seen Nia it was like looking in the mirror it was nothing like having a twin sister. She was a Bestfriend that I knew would never turn her back on me.

     Nia ran up to me and hugged me so tight I thought I was going to stop breathing.

"I missed u so much this distance is killing me I'm so glad u back I got so much to tell u"

Nia practically screamed to me because she couldn't control how happy she was to see me. I just laughed at her. Tony grabbed my bags and looked at me and Nia and said "Double trouble back in town." He gave me a hug and we followed him to the car.
