HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! SHOUT-OUT TO THE LUCKY LADY HERSELF! OKAY,ON WITH THE ONESHOT!

You just colored at the table as Toriel sat down and read her book in her yellow recliner. You were drawing a picture of you and Toriel until something popped in your head.

Isn't today....?

You always kept track of time. You carried a little watch with you and always marked off some days of the calendar to know what day it is. You got up.

"Hm? My child?" Asked Toriel." Oh,sorry mom. Just need to see something real quick..." You said as you hurried to the kitchen. Fear swelled inside you.

Please,please,please, tell me I didn't....

You took a quick look at the fridge with a calendar pinned to it.

Mother's day

I can't believe I did.

"Oh crap." You said. You instantly started to panic." Oh no,oh no!" You said as you started to pull your hair some." I can't believe I forgot!" You yelled. "I didn't even get her a present!" You said as you flailed your arms around. You then stopped and held your heart. You felt tears start to swell up in your eyes.

What if she hates me?

What if she kills me?

What if she just let me go through the gates and never come back!?

Thoughts of worry started to run in your mind until,"My child?"

You looked behind you to see Toriel with a worried expression." My child, what is wrong? Why are you crying?" Your mom asked. You felt more tears run down your cheeks.

Why is she so nice? She don't deserve me.

"I-I......" You started." I forgot your mother's day present!" You said as you bursted into a fir a tears. Toriel quickly made her way to you and kneeled down to your height so that your eyes would meet." Oh,my child." She said as she caressed your H/C hair." What is mothers day?"

W-what? How could she NOT know?

You stuttered as you spoke." I-Its a day where all the c-children in the world celebrate their moms. A-and I didn't get you anything!" You said. You ran into Toriel,hugging her. Toriel softly patted your head." There,there, my child. It is alright if you did not get me a mother's day present." She said. You sniffed." You are already what I wanted for mothers day: a child that loves me." Toriel said. You smiled a bit.

"I love you,mom."
