"Annnnd cut!" The director yelled as the video was over. "It's a wrap."
Chris broke from his pose and clapped his hands together. He smiled happily as he made his way off the set.
"Good job, Chris." said, his co-star. Other wise, known as Nicki Minaj
"Thanks. You were great too."
They had just shot the video for his single, 'Love More', and Chris was tired. Not only does he have to work long hours everyday, but he also has to tend to his sick mother in the hospital. As soon as he's done working, he goes straight to see her.
About a year ago Joyce was diagnosed with cancer. All his money he puts to his mother. Sometimes, he didn't want to do nothing but stay with her all day. But she wouldn't let him.
'Don't Throw Away Your Career For Me Christopher. If You Want To Make Me Happy, Work As Hard As You Can Everyday. ' She always told him.
Chris sighed as them words replayed in his head. He made his way to his dressing room to gather his things. As he did so, there was a knock on his door.
"Come in!" He said loudly so the person could hear him.
He heard the door open, then close. But the person didn't say anything. He turned around to see her standing there. Her brown eyes were filled with anger. He mentally sighed, and walk toward her.
"Hey Jaycee." He said, bending down to give her a kiss. But She dodged it.
"Don't." She put her hand in his face.
"What happened now, Jay." He went back to getting his stuff together.
"Your what happened Christopher!" She yelled. "I'm tired of all the damn rumors! What happened with that girl at the club last night?!"
Chris didn't even want to argue with her. "Nothing." He grabbed his stuff angrily & quickly left the room.
We All know Christopher Has a very bad temper. Because of his harsh past, he's been very consistent of his actions. When him and Jaycee has their arguments, He just leaves. This stops him from making stupid choices.
When Chris left, He went to get lunch, and then straight to see his mom. He did this every time he can. He makes sure he buys food the both of them can enjoy, and is also healthy enough for her.
"Hey, Ma." He said as he made it to the hospital.
She looked so much healthier and this was more than just a good thing to Chris.
The doctor told him that She was doing very well.
"Everything is looking fine when it comes to her health." Dr. Goerge said with a bright smile. "In a week Or so, she will beat the cancer."
Chris was so excited that He started dancing with Dr. George. The whole room was filled with laughter from the doctor, Chris and his mom.
This was the most surreal moment Chris had in the last year. He couldn't focus on anything. But once He heard the doctors words, He felt the heavy weight lift off of his shoulders.
Date: Same Day
Time: 8:45 P.M.
Chris was still at the hospital. He had been talking to his mom for more than 5 hours. Nothing but mellow vibes filled the atmosphere.
"Agh, I can't wait till you get outta' Here Ma. Were gonna' EVERYTHING that day."
"Chris, don't think when I get out, your going to start dilly-dallying." His mother told him in a stern tone. "You have a commitment."
He groaned. "I know Ma. I just wanna' spend some time with you."
She smiled and nodded, showing she understood. After drinking some of her water, she had a question for Chris.
"How's Jaycee?"
Chris wanted to choke himself. Yes, he has feelings for her. But, she doesn't trust him enough. And this is pushing him away.
"Same as always." He stated."She don't trust me, Mama. She spends more time accusing me of doing stuff, than actually spending time with me."
"Seems to me, you don't want to be with her...".
"I do but... I don't know." He sighed.
"Go with your heart baby. Don't waste your time with someone you don't love."
