I sat in a near by chair in the waiting room, watching people pass me without a single care in the world. I didn't know what was happening, but I needed to find out. I got up out of the chair and headed down the halls to my room.
There I saw my body, still sleeping. I saw two doctors talking next to my hospital bed.
"Dr. Ritch.", a woman doctor says," I did some research and Emmi might be in a coma for atleast five months at the earliest."
"But that makes no sense.", the other doctor says.
"Dr.Ritch, some people are in coma's for years. It makes perfect sense what I'm saying."
I'm in a coma. I've known that some coma's last a long time, and I wasn't ready to be in one, even though I already was. I looked at my heart monitor, it started beeping insanely, and my breathing almost stopped. The two doctors ran to both sides of my body, trying to keep me alive. The doctors kept playing with all the monitors and tubes attached to me, only seeming to make it all worse.
"I'll take care of her, you go check on Avia!", Dr.Raynes says, fear in her voice.

I had followed Dr. Ritch to Avia's room. I see Avia in comatose, on her bed. Dr. Ritch was digging through drawers of paperwork, trying to find the one for Avia. I see where the blood had dried to her face, as well as multiple bruises. She looked horrible, I couldn't believe what had happened, but things like this happen to lots of people, except I couldn't believe the fact that'd happened to us.
I touched Avia's arm, and a freezing current ran through my veins, but I was fine with it. I lifted my hand from her arm and began to walk out.
Static began playing in the air at the most random time. I didn't know where it was coming from, but I ignored the thought. I turn slowly around, and see doctors rolling Brock across the crowded halls, trying to get him to another room.
I felt my head begin to throb in pain, my eyes rolled at the back of my head as I fell to the floor.
I was sitting in my dark room, alone. I heard the wind and rain bang against pipes. The moonlight was shining into my window, which was swinging in the wind. I looked out at the stars, shining in my eyes. That second, I saw a message written in that same sky,
You choose your own Fate.
I closed my eyes, and saw Avia. One who I used to know, the one who I thought I knew.
I opened my eyes, and she was gone again.
"Emmi...", I hear a voice say, one I didn't recognize.
I turn around slowly, and saw a girl about my age with red hair and blue eyes, she wore a white dress, but was bare foot. "How do you know my name?", I say.
"I just know it.", she says.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Emilee."
"Why are you here? And how the heck are you able to see me?"
"I'm here to guide you, Emmi. And I really cannot explain how I can see you in your coma. But you need to come with me, I have something to show you.", she held out her hand and I took it.
She helped me stand up, as the room started fading into blackness. A little white light appeared in front of me and Emilee faded away. I ran towards the light, but it kept moving away. Beginning to run faster, but no matter how fast I ran, the light moved away. I eventually gave up and fell inside the black.
~
I woke up inside a small cabin. Lying on a couch in front of a fireplace.
"Oh, you're awake now.", a little girls voice says.
"I was asleep?", I ask.
"Yes."
"Since when?"
"Not to long ago, Emmi."
"Where am I?"
"My cabin."
I got up from the couch and walked over to the window. It was snowing outside. There had to be at least ten feet of snow on the ground under the gray sky. I walked away from the window to the door. I grabbed the knob, when I felt a hand on my wrist. "Don't you dare leave. You have to stay here.", the girl said.
"Why?", I ask.
"Because.", she sighs, "You're safer here."
I ignored her and broke free of her grip. I bolted out the wooden door own the halls, and outside. I saw the girl chasing after me. So, I began to run as fast I could through all the snow.
I stopped in the middle of a forest, catching my breath. The snow falling all around me. I began to shiver a bit. In the distance, I saw a red cloth fly in the wind towards me. It landed in front of me, in the snow. I bent down to pick it up. The cape seemed familiar to my eyes.
I took a closer look at it, and saw it was Brocks.
I heard footsteps trudging in the snow. A hand fell to my shoulder. "Emmi,...Brock died.", the girl says from behind me. "The doctors couldn't hook him up in time. I'm sorry...", she says her voice growing softer.
Tears roll down my face, as the cape flew out of my hand and into the wind.
"It'll be alright.", she says softly.
"Anyone else dead yet?", I tried not to shout at her, still crying.
"Not yet."
"What's your name?", I ask.
"Virtue.", she responds," What's your name."
"It's Emmi."
"Emmi. That's such a nice name."
"Thanks.", I smile a little.
"Virtue, do you now how I get out of here."
"No. I've been stuck here for years now. Long ago, my family got in a plane crash, and I was in a coma, like you are now. But..."
"What?"
"Never mind."
I start to walk off, but I take a look back. "Nice meeting you.", I say to Virtue.
"Nice meeting you too.", she says.
I begin to walk off again. Looking above me, into the gray sky. Until I tripped, and fell into a dark hole. Falling, I closed my eyes. Feeling myself fall down the hole.
