"Shawnie, when you gone stop playing around and be mine?" I flirted with her in the same spot as the other day at work. She thinks she's fooling somebody. Just by looking at her I know she wants me. But that's how girls are, they want a nigga to chase and beg for them and I don't really like that shit.
"When are you gonna get it through your head that I don't want you." She leaned in to make sure I heard.
My lips curled up. "You ain't gotta lie to me. I can see it in your eye."
She made gagging noises and rolled her eyes.
"What do I have to do to get you to go on a date with me huh?" I tilted my head up.
She remained quiet, but then she smirked, scaring me a little.
"Buy me a chicken-steak bowl from Chipotle."
I looked at her and blinked repeatedly. What's with girls with Chipotle?
"With guac, and I'll consider going out with you." She nodded, as if that was her final answer.
"Really?" I said in a dry way, giving her a blank stare.
"Really."
"Dominic, there's customers that need help and you're laying around!" The manager yelled.
I jumped up. "My fault."
"Don't let it happen again." He eyed me as he walked away.
He always bitching.
After work I went on my quest to get this girl her damn Chipotle. And after I buy it, she better say yes.
The line was out the door when I got there.
"Oh helllll no."
I can't believe I stood almost 20 minutes in line for some damn food. She should've asked for McDonald's so I wouldn't even have to get out the car. Some people can't stand McDonald's. I don't know why, the dollar menu is our best friend.
"What can I get you?" Finally I was asked the question.
"Um, a chicken-steak bowl?"
The lady nodded.
She put white rice on it and slid the bowl down to the next lady. When I looked up guess who was working,
Rose.
I dropped my head.
Shit.
"Dom, fancy seeing you here." She laughed.
I nodded and smiled. I hope she was getting the hint that I wasn't really feeling her.
"What do you want on it?"
I forgot to ask her what she wanted on it. Oh fucking well she gone get what I give her.
"Um, tomatoes, corn, onions, peppers, lettuce, and sour cream." She got everything.
"Oh and guacamole." I rolled my eyes.
