Deal or No Deal

Wait. What?

DEAN'S POV

"So why did you guys move to Silver Creek?" I asked as we were walking around the city.

"Oh well.." She started to say while looking up at Sam. Okay then? "We uh.. We moved here because my dad is in the military and he's stationed here." Alicia says while looking down and taking a lick of her ice cream.

"What about Sam? "You guys aren't sisters, where are her parents?"I could tell I hit a bad spot because she wouldn't look be in the eye.

"I don't have parents, dick face." Sam says in a pissed off voice trying to hold her composer but I could see pain in her eyes and they started to water, but I couldn't get a good look because she walked away from us.

Alicia started to go after her, but my brother stopped her. "Let me try?" He semi asked and semi demands looking at Alicia.

"Thanks but I.." My brother cut her off before she could finish. "Please?" He said looking in her eyes practically begging. Damn, he might as well get on his knees. He doesn't even know these girls. He's been trying all night to get Sam's attention and she's been blatantly ignoring him, and now he wants to go comfort her? What the fuck.

I break out of my mental thought when Alicia actually agrees to letting him go, and I watch my brother run off after her.

"I'm sorry I didn't know." I say not really knowing what to do.

"Its fine, just be more careful when you talk to her she can change moods in a snap." She says and continues walking.

I walk a little fast to catch up to her. "She already seems like she hates me anyway." I say shrugging. Earning a little giggle from Alicia. Her laugh is so cute its just makes me want to smile.

"She'll warm up. Trust.." She completely blew off finishing her sentence and took off running. I look up to see she's running to a carnival. I laugh and run after her.

Once I finally catch up to her I see her staring up at the rides smiling. "You act like you've never been to a carnival before." I say laughing a little. But when I say that her smile fades. What did I say something wrong?

"Y-yeah I've totally been to one before. It's just been a long time." She says looking down for a second but changes her facade and becomes happy again. "Can we ride some rides?" She asks while smiling like a 5 year old in a candy store for the first time. I couldn't say no.

"Sure I'll beat your ass at bumper cars." I say a laugh a little when her face gets a serious but I can tell shes laughing inside. "In your dreams lover boy. Race you to it!" She says and takes off to the bumper cars.

"Hey, that's not fair." I say while laughing and take off after her.

ALEX'S POV

I run after Sammy once I get the yes from Alicia. I don't know why, but I felt like I should be the one helping her. I'm becoming such a little bitch and I literally just met this girl like 3 hours ago.

I don't know what it is about her but she just interests me. Unlike most of the sluts at school, she actually blew me off. This may sound egotistical, but no girl has ever blown me off, and her blowing me off just honestly makes her so much more interesting.

I break out of my train of thought when I see Sammy sitting on a swing facing the ocean. I can see part of her face from here and I can tell she's been crying, she's not anymore but she was.

I walk over to her and sit on the swing next to hers. I didn't say anything yet because I'm trying to find the right words to say without upsetting her, because I can tell she gets upseylt easily.

"Sam?" I say looking at her. "Are you okay?" She just looks over at me and doesnt answer. Her tear stained face and red puffy eyes tell me she's definitely not. What a dumb question!

"I'm sorry dumb question."

"You think." She says giving me a duh tone.

"Wanna talk about it?" I say looking at the ocean. I can see her shaking her head and looking down while a few more tears slipped from her eyes.

I go to grab her but she pulls away shaking her head."get away." She says still looking down crying.

"Sam.." I start but she cuts me off by putting her hand up. "No, get away from me. Don't talk to me, don't look at me. I don't like you!" She says getting up wiping off her cheeks.

"I don't need you to baby me and tell me everything's gonna be alright. Stay away from me." She yells while walking away.

I'm left there stunned. I don't know what to say in all honesty. I start to think and get madder each second. I was just trying to help her! And this is what I get! Fuck her! I need a drink. I think and walk to the nearest gas station and us my fake ID and get some rum and start to walk home.

DEANS POV

"So.." I start to say before taking some of the cotton candy. "Why did you ask me to show you around?"

She laughs a little at the question with cotton candy in her mouth. "Well I don't know many people yet..." She says and then swallows her cotton candy. "And as you may  see me and Sammy don't make friends to easily." She says laughing a little and I laugh along.

"Yeah I see that." I say laughing some more and she pushes my arm playfully making me laugh more.

Our laughter dies out and we just kind sit in a silence. It wasn't really awkward, it was more calming than anything.

I take this chance to really look at her and take her in. She has this dark brown curly hair that stops at the middle of her chest and these light brown eyes that glowed in the moonlight. 

I don't really understand what is it about her but I like it. She calms by nerves, yeah I know what you're all thinking. That I couldn't possibly like her like that, I just met her. I mean i'm not even sure how I feel about her. All I know is I enjoy just being able to talk to a girl and not have them trying to kiss me or hit on me every second. It nice, i'm glad she forced me to take her out today...

But, I do feel like there is something I don't know about her. Like they're keeping a secret.

I hope y'all enjoyed that chapter I tried to make it longer and yes I have been taking long to update but that's because school and i've been getting everything with that done, and i'm also sick and can barley focus.
