Soul mate AU
An arrow on your wrist which acts like a compass, pointing where your soul mate is. Once you found your soul mate, the arrow changes into an xYou've always wondered when you'll meet your soul mate. As time pass, and as your friends start to meet their soul mates, you couldn't help but wonder what your soul mate looks like.
Is he a hardworking type? Or perhaps someone who's very lazy? You'll never know
Glancing at the black arrow stuck on your wrist, you sighed. It was pointing north, yet, it showed no signs that you're going to meet him soon.
Stuffing books into your school bag, you couldn't help but still be shocked at the presence of a certain someone.
"(Surname)-san."
"WOAHHH?!"
Yep. It was Kuroko Tetsuya.
"Geez, Kuroko," you huffed out, crossing your arms, "whats up?".
"I'm sorry for surprising you, (surname)-san, but can you give this to coach?" He asks, giving you a sheet of paper.
"Oh sure, no worries." You grinned, taking the piece of paper from him.
"And please tell her i have to do something so i wont join today's practice. Thank you, (surname)-san."
"Alright." You nodded, grabbing your bag and left the classroom.
You couldn't help but look at the paper Kuroko gave you. Written in bold letters, you read something about The Winter Cup.
'Hmm.. might as well watch them play later.' You thought to yourself as you gave the paper to Riko.
Since you're too lazy to watch them in the first matches, you decided to watch them in the finals. Walking inside the gigantic stadium, you saw blue and orange jerseys playing instead. Looking at a schedule stuck on a wall, you "oh"ed. It was a match between Kaijo and Shuutoku for the 3rd place. You sure were early.
Sitting on the bleachers near Kaijo's players, you noticed your arrow started to spin around in fast motion before following a certain someone's movement in the court.
Your heart thumped.
Could it be?
Looking back and forth from your wrist to the game, you noticed the arrow pointing at a certain point guard using the blue jersey.
"Number 4... " you muttered to yourself.
As the ball went in the basket with a swish despite earning a foul, you saw him look down and walk towards the free throw line, going to shoot a free throw. He probably noticed the arrow turning quickly before pointing towards your direction.
He turned his head and his eyes met yours. The both of your eyes widened. He quickly turned his head back towards the ball and released it into the air.
After the match ended with Shuutoku's win, despite wanting to go and comfort your newly found soul mate for his lost, you were glued to your seat. Sighing, you unlocked your phone and scrolled through a few messages you missed. Noticing the arrow pointing behind you, you sighed knowing he's in the changing room.
Looking back to the court, you saw both Seirin and Rakuzan already lined up and bowed. Halfway into the game, you noticed someone now sitting beside you. You looked at your wrist in curiosity, only to find it pointing towards the person beside you.
You snapped your head towards him and let out a gasp. He must've noticed it because he slowly looked at you too.
You payed attention towards the details of his face. Blue eyes, short black hair, a stern look. With a smile, you just extended your arm with the arrow towards him. He knew what you were doing. You wanted to make sure.
He extended the hand with the arrow towards you as well. The two arrows spun rapidly and both turned into an x.
He blushed as he struggled to say his name.
"I-it's Ka-kasamatsu Yukio..." he stuttered, looking down.
"The name's (surname) (name). Its nice to meet you, Kasama-"
"Call.. um.. call me Yukio." He cuts off.
"Alright then, Yukio, now tell me your number." You grinned.
'I finally found him.'
'I can't believe i get to find her here.'Yolo amirite.
I should be studying.
Ciao~
