This should be obvious but don't make the book have over 50-100 chapters in it. Break it up.
There is a princeton love story with 130 chapters in one book. Then yesterday (sept. 15) i saw a book that had 180 chapters in it. Like damn after a certain about you need to make a sequel. There is no point for one book to be that damn long. At least 50 to 100 chapters in one book fine any number after that gone ahead and make a separate book boo boo.
