Anna wasn't a fighter. She was ten year old willing to not fight the cancer. Lung cancer.  She was stage four and thought there was no use in trying.  Her parents oddly, but truthfully, respected her wishes.  Anna went out her days as a normal child not taking the sympathetic words of others.  Although she appreciated the prayers and well wishes she had known nothing would change without a miracle.

Her doctors would tell her that bad things didn't happen to good people. But she refused to believe their lies. She knew that everyday millions of people died. Millions of innocent, kind hearted people.

Life was just cruel and unfair and terrible. And the sooner people understood that the more people wouldn't fear death. That's why I ,Anna, refuse to fight any longer. I refuse to cry. Refuse to to try. Hope. Live.

What's the point in having that hope that you' ll live when you know for a fact you have absolutely no chance in the world.

I'm dying. I know this now, and I'm not scared. Not afraid. Not even fearful.

Why should I be?
