In the beginning of your game which is Minecraft, you can make a name for the world and a seed to send you to a certain world. After that, you will spawn in the world. The first thing to do is to get blocks of wood from forest trees, usually birch or oak. Next you go into your inventory and craft wooden planks. Then make a crafting table which will help you craft anything you need. Craft sticks and then craft a wooden axe, wooden pick axe, wooden shovel, and a wooden sword for your tool set. That will be your tools to survive.
