Lana's pov

The night Christie came home, I don't think me or either of her parents managed to get that much sleep. We were all worrying about what she was going to do. She was adamant that she was ready go back to school but we all agreed that it was way too early and she should wait a few more days. She wasn't happy about the idea, but she had put herself in it so her parents were tough on this and told her she has to deal with it. The day after we got back from hospital, she was in her room watching telly. I knocked on her door even though it was open. I wanted to show her I appreciated her privacy, even though the trust we all had with her was lost now and had to be re-built.

'Come in, you don't have to knock you know' she said, smiling at me.

'I wanted to, this is your room. How you doing sweetheart?' I said, walking over to her bed where she was sat.

'I am okay. I feel a bit sad, but I have nothing to be sad about' she said looking down where she was playing with the sheets.

'I understand. I can take you for a walk if you want?' I said.

'I have nothing to be so sad about. I have a family, amazing friends and you Lana, are in my house. Its everything I could wish for. I have seen you so many times now, that you don't seem like a celebrity and I don't fan girl over you anymore. Its so weird, but I'm so happy you're here.' She said while putting her hair up.

'Come on, lets walk' I said, appreciating what she had just said.

I dragged her out of bed, literally, and went to the park across the street from her house. She was quiet until we sat down on a bench overlooking happy children playing soccer.

'So, why are you feeling sad?' I said, already knowing the answer.

'Oh my gosh, why is everyone so obsessed with how I am. I'm so angry I'm still alive' she said going red in the face.

Before I could say anything, she got up and stormed away. She shifted her mood so fast it was unbelievable. One minuet she was happy and the next she was angry. I had no idea where she went so my main priority was to find her, not what she just said about being alive. I went all around the park, to the building she jumped off and back at home. I sat down on the sofa and a thought came to mind. Her friends house.

....

I rushed to her friends house and I knocked the door. Her friend answer the door. School must had ended. I looked at her and she gave me the look. The sort of 'nothing is okay' look. Danielle, Christie's friend led me up to her room. I went in and had such a shock. My heart dropped and I almost struggled to catch my breath. I looked in the corner where Christie was sat with her knees folded up to her chest. She was crying and trembling uncontrollably. It was like she had no control over her body or actions.

'No, I don't want to see you. You think I'm stupid, just like the rest of them' she said, screaming and cowering more into the corner.

'What?! Christie, where the hell did you get that from. I can't see you like this anymore. It's stupid that no one is doing anything about it' I said, while discreetly taking her friends hand in mine and wondering what she had meant by 'the rest of them'.

She said nothing but dropped her head onto her lap lazily.

'I am going to be the one to sort you out, and I don't care if it makes you hate me' I said as I rushed out the door.

I went right back to Christie's house and grabbed the laptop. I opened up the internet and I started researching and researching until I found what I wanted. After an house of researching, I finally found what I was looking for.
