The Throne... ( Bwwm)

chptr. 4 New strangers

Jason and I were just laying on the ground in the sand. It was starting to get dark so we went inside to get ready for supper. Jason walked me to my chambers and kissed me bye for now. I walked in my chambers to take a bath. I had a hour til supper was ready so since it don't take long for me to get dressed, I decided to take a longer bath to wet the rest of my hair to brush it.

I washed myself first then wetted the rest of my hair. I got out and sat in my chair naked in front of a mirror to dry my hair with a towel and to start brushing my hair. I didn't want my clothes wet if I put them on and my hair still wet so I did my hair first.  When I finished brushing my hair I let it loose for tonight. 

I got up to walk to my closet and choose an outfit.  Most of my closet was lace on top off the dress. So I stuck with a dark blue straight down dress with just black heels. It was only supper, I didn't need to wear a flare dress.

I threw on my underwear and put on the dress. I put on a small necklace because in a little while I'm going to take it right off. I had 20 mins of time left to get there. I laid down on my bed for 10 mins.

When 10 mins was up, I got up and put my shoes on to head out. Since my parents were gone,I had Lucy to sit next to. If... Her parents don't take up all the spots next to her and I'm left with people I seen before but don't know. Until Jason came walking towards me when I was in my train of thought.

“ Sit with us. My parents are supposed to be looking after you anyways, so that way they can do their job."

I did think it would be a little uncomfortable sitting with the royal family because either place I sit, I know one person then I'm just sitting next to a bunch of strangers. We'll I did know somewhat of James but he mostly talked about Jason.

“ok."

Took my chances with sitting with the royal family. Its a once in a life time thing and how bad could it be?

I walked in the eating room for the royal family. I obviously sat next to Jason and luckily James sat next to me. Already gossip went around on the other side of the table of why I was sitting at the royal table. I hate it when someone looks at me when their gossiping to someone else about me. You mind as well say it to me, if your making it obvious that it's about me.

“Why is she sitting here?" They whispered in each other ears.

I looked away from the gossip. I wasn't gonna look like outsider even though I am.

“Cause she can!..." Jason yelled
"....the king and queen are watching her."

"For what reason?" A girl with Sandy blonde hair said with a little smirk on her face.

James whispered in my ear as Jason and the girl with Sandy blonde hair argued with each other. “ Don't mind Jenna. She's just jealous."

"Jealous of what?"

“Well, she's not a royal. She's just rich and the king has been sitting her here for weeks now for Jason. But Jason hasn't been paying attention to her at all. He's knows the king is trying to set them up and so does Jenna but Jason finds no interest in her and she tries to attract him but it doesn't work. She's just jealous that Jason is paying attention to you and she knows it can lead to somewhere. Really she's just want to be queen. Jason is the next heir to the throne and he's her goal."

“That's disgusting and greedy." I said to James.

James laughed out loud.

“Whats so funny?" Jenna commanded.
James looked at her with his smile that turned to a evil smile. "Telling Mary how much I love having her around. Right Jason?"

Jason smiled at James because of what he's doing. “ Right"

James went on..." I wish she'd stay around"

Jenna remarked. “ Too bad the family has to pick up their burden again."

Jason's head turned right back to Jenna so fast as his smile dropped. He started to turn red and balled up his fist. “ THAT'S ENOUGH JENNA!" He banged his fist on the table. Jenna's face looked scared. I got up and grabbed Jason's upper arm.

“ Calm down..... just don't listen to her. "  I whispered to him.

Jason sat back down and scooted in his seat. Jenna's face went from scared to angry.  The king and queen finally arrived and every body played happiness except Jason. He was still a little pissed off. But we all was paying attention as the king prayed.

Amen.

The food was gave to us at our seat. Tonight was chicken, carrots, and bread. I love bread so I ate it and just fiddled with the carrots... and pecked at the chicken. Not that I was picky but I just wasn't hungry. I was still sad about my parents leaving. I didn't want to eat that much. Also I was getting evil stares from across the table. Jason saw Jenna and have her the evil stare back.

After a while the king and queen got up and left. Then me and Jason.

“I'm so sorry Mary about Jenna."

“ Don't even apologize for her. You had nothing to do with the way she acted."

Jason walked me to my chambers and kissed me good night. I was blushing and it was obvious that's why he laughed a little.

“ Good night beautiful"

“Good night handsome"

Jason eyes lit up at me when I said handsome. And it made him happy. He kissed me 3 more times then he went to my neck. I giggled at low volume.

“ Ok..." I slightly pushed him away still laughing. “ ok.. good night. See you tomorrow." I kissed him on the cheek and went in my chambers.

I took my clothes off and put on my gown and put my hair in a bun and went to bed. Hopefully I have good dreams....
