I was kind of excited to go to school today. I mean I know school is like hell but today, I was kind of excited. And yes I will admit, I was exited to see Brandon. He's a really nice guy and he takes my mind out of Lucas.
"Hey Maya!" I heard my brunette best friend. She was by her lockers with Farkle and him.
"Sup" I said causally. "So Maya" Riley said breaking the awkward silence "you excited for the first day back from winter break?!" Of course only Riley would be excited to be back but, she's not the only one.
"Probably only gonna say this once but, I am actually kind of excited" I said. Everyone just looked at me weirdly. "Maya are you ok?" Farkle asked as he touched my forehead "Are you sick?"
"No" I said as I slightly giggled "I'm perfectly fine" I said while slightly smiling. "Mayaaaa.....why are you smiling like that?" my brown eyed best friend asked. "What...um....what do you mean?" Riley rolled her eyes "You know what I'm talking about. You only smile like that when there's something special is happening"
"Maya just tell us why you are excited" Lucas said. I looked deeply into his eyes "The reason why I'm excited is because I met" I got cut off
"Maya!" I recognized that voice from anywhere. It was him. Brandon
"HEY!" I said running to hug him. God he's so tall. He's really cute too. "So how do you like our high school so far?" "Pretty good, one of the seniors gave me a tour and I really like it here"
"That's good" I said. "So Maya" Riley said breaking the awkward silence "Who's this handsome boy?" she said with a slight giggle.
"Riley, Farkle, Lucas this is Brandon. And Brandon that's Riley, Farkle and Lucas" I said pointing to them. "Nice to meet you guys" Brandon said
"So Brandon, when did you meet Maya?" Lucas said with slight jealously in his eyes. "I met her on New Years" "Oh th-that's nice" Lucas said awkwardly
"Anyways, Brandon when did you move here?" Farkle asked. "I actually moved here to live with my new stepsister and stepdad. "Oh cool. Who's your stepsister?" Farkle asked again. "She actually goes to this high school, I think you might know her" "What's her name?" I asked. "Her name is" he then got cut off.
"BRANDON!!"
