Lucy's POV
We arrived at the venue of MAGCON Miami. I was really nervous. Before we left our hotel I was told to keep my head down going in and out of the backstage area and also to be prepared for some hate. Bart, the tour manager sat me down and explained to me that some girls are so in love with Shawn that when they see me, it could make them really angry and jealous. I kind of understand that but at the same time, I really don't want anyone to hate me! I have already received some hate from snapchats and instagrams Shawn has put up on his accounts of me but I have changed my own accounts to private so no one can comment on my own things. I just try not to look at Shawn's comments from fans.
When we got backstage the boys were all hyped and so excited. I loved seeing them like this. It's really sweet to see them wanting to give back to their fans like this.
Shawn came up to me and told me that he had asked Bart if I could be introduced on stage to the fans. Bart said he didn't mind what I chose to do.
''I'm not sure Shawn...I don't want them to hate me.'' I said worried.
''Don't be silly Luc, if I love you, they'll love you.'' Shawn replied giving me a squeeze.
I went a bit red hearing him say that. ''Ok...as long as you don't embarrass me or make me look stupid.'' I said getting slightly excited myself. I've never been on stage but my first time being on a MAGCON stage, I think, is the best way to do it.
''Luc, I can't make you look stupid. You do that enough by yourself.'' Shawn laughed as her ran off to tell Bart that I had agreed.
''What an ass.'' I said under my breath.

The meet and greet took place before the show. I decided to take the photos on the fans phones when they met Shawn. There were professional photographers there but I know the fans would like their own photos too.
As the fans were let in, some of them recognised me and started screaming my name to catch their attention. That was a first for me. I gave them all a wave but didn't really know what else to do. The boys were all messing around and making the fans laugh so I just watched and laughed along too.
When the meet and greet started, I was taking photos non stop. It was really sweet. Some fans brought presents for the boys and Shawn tossed me any which he thought were hilarious. I ended up with a flamingo hat on my head and a pair of oversized sunglasses. I looked like a fool but was having too much fun to notice.
So far the fans were all really nice to me. Some even asked for pictures with me too which was hilarious. I pulled crazy faces in my crazy dress up and Shawn was nearly wetting himself from laughing so much.
As the fans passed, the line shortened. I could hear a group of girls getting closer in the line. I didn't look back at them but I could hear what they were saying.
''Is that the girl who Shawn is always with?''
''Yeah, think so. Hah how awkward, she looks like a fool.''
''Shawn could do so much better.''
''He better not be getting with her. Could you imagine the embarrassment of that?''
I could feel the nerves getting the better of me. My palms got sweaty and I begin to involuntarily chew the inside of my mouth. They were getting closer and my nerves were getting worse. Shawn saw the fear in my eyes and mouthed across the way to me.
''You ok?''
''Yeah fine.'' I mouthed back.
''You don't seem fine. What's wrong.''
''Nothing. I'll tell you later.''
The girls then reached the top of the line and were let over to Shawn. They all ran over and covered him with kisses on his cheeks. They chatted with Shawn for a minute or so and then he asked if they wanted a picture. Obviously they all said yes.
''You can give your phone or camera to Lucy there and she can take it for us.'' He said. As soon as those words came out of his mouth, the feeling of nausea came over me.
The girls all turned to look at me. Bitchy looks were plastered on each of their faces. One of the girls approached me with her phone and handed it to me.
''Try not to fuck it up.'' She said and returned to Shawn.
I took a couple of pictures and handed the phone back. Surprisingly then they asked for a picture with me. Shawn said it was a great idea, not knowing that it was the last thing I wanted to happen. He took the same girls phone and I posed for a picture. This time just a natural smile, nothing silly for this group. They then all left and we finished the meet and greet.
Everyone returned back stage with half an hour until the show began.
''What was wrong with you during the meet and greet?'' Shawn asked when everyone else was distracted doing their own things.
''Nothing really, just some girls were saying that I wasn't good enough for you and stuff.'' I said quietly, look down at my hands whilst fiddling with my thumbs.
''Don't listen to them Luc, some fans get like that. They say those things in the spur of the moment. They don't actually mean any of it.'' Shawn said giving me a hug.
''I know, I know. I guess I'm just not really used to this fame stuff yet.'' I said. Shawn had made me feel a little bit better but those girls had really shook me up.
I just hope the show goes better.
