Daddy's Job

Thomas got a role in a new movie called Captured (this is not true). He starts filming today which is a Monday. I went downstairs to go making breakfast while I was making Marcellette and Thomas came down and started eating. Once they were both done they went upstairs and got ready. When Marcellette and Thomas came down, Thomas came and give me a kiss goodbye and then went to go kiss Marcellette goodbye. "But daddy you not driving us" Marcellette asked. "No princess, daddy has to work. You and mommy are going to walk to school since school isn't far" he said as he kissed her forehead and went out the door. Thomas was gone once me and Marcellette decided it was time to leave. Whilst we were walking Marcellette asked "Mommy what daddy job. All my friends daddy go to work every day, how come daddy does go to work everyday". "Daddy's job is different. He's an actor. For his work they don't always need him because he doesn't need to act everyday only when he gets a job. Like the new job that he has he only has to go sometime because they only need him sometimes" I explained. She nodded her and the rest of the time was spent in silence, but just before we got to school Marcellette asked "Is daddy going to come to my dance recital?" "I don't know Marcellette, ask him when he comes home" I told her. After that we were at school.

Time skip to around 6:00 pm
Marcellette and I were eating dinner when Thomas came home. He gave us both kisses on the head and sat down at the table and started eating. "How was your day" I asked him. "It was good how about yours" he said. "Pretty good" I said. "Daddy I have a question" Marcellette asked. "Yes princess" he told. "Can you come to the my ballet recital on the 23 of May" She asked. "Of course princess" he replied. For the rest of dinner Marcellette ate smiling whilst Thomas and I talked.
