Moon Wolf: The Battle

Training luck, and little disasters

Moon had already begun her day and was getting ready for training. She saw Claw, a male wolf about her age. He was tall, strong, and he had black fur that shined from the sun. Claw walked up to her looking prideful.
" Hey Moon, want some help training. I don't mind whatsoever."
"No Claw I'm fine, I don't need your dirty paws close to me." She replied grimly.
" Oh okay. Well I'm gonna go out to the lake with some friends."
"That's nice."
"Hmph." Claw then grumpily walked off.
"Thank goodness!" Moon thought.

Dusk was already at the Generals den when Moon got there.
"Good you're here, training is about to start."
"I got caught up, by Claw...."
"Grrr, that guy is SO annoying I swear."
" I know right."

Just then General Starks walked out.
"Hope you're ready for some challenges."
Moon and Dusk looked at him with determination and he smiled.
"Alright come on."

They entered the training area and sat quietly waiting for orders.

"Alright first you're each at different times going to climb up those rocks leading to the waterfalls, jumping down the waterfalls,then swimming across the pond. Then you are going to run through the trees jump over rocks and logs, then lastly you are going to an old bear skin trying to rip it within 5 seconds. Got it?"
They both nodded.
"Alright good, you're going first Dusk."
Dusk nodded and got ready to run.
"Ready, set, go!"
Dusk sprinted up the rocks and within half a minute reached the top, panting he jumped off the waterfall and plunged into the crystal waters. He swiftly got out and ran through the trees jumping over logs or rocks. He was panting hardly once he reached the bear skin. With two swift claws at the skin broke it.

"Good job!" General and Moon said in a unison. And Dusk walked over proudly.
"Alright VERY good, Moon your turn."
Moon positioned herself in a launching form and waited for the word go.
"Ready.. Set.. Go!"

Moon quickly ran up the rocks in a matter of seconds, then jumped from the waterfall into the water and swam fast back to the shore. She jumped and dodged trees and rocks, she then caught the sight of the bear skin and in a jump broke it with one claw.

" Very very good!"
"Good job Moon!"
Moon smiled and thanked them, then the excitement got interrupted by a loud growling. Suddenly a big brown bear jumped out of no where. Moon ducked, but both General and Dusk got knocked out with two swift swipes.
" General!Dusk!"
The bear turned back to see Moon, frightened and furious. The bear launched and knocked her to the ground. She slipped out from under him and sliced his rump. He roared loudly and turned back. Moon launched herself into the bears stomach tearing the skin and flesh with her teeth. The bear flung her into  a tree and she sat there, unconscious. In a matter of seconds she woke up to find the bear charging at her madly, quickly she jumped up while the bear slammed in the tree, knocking it over. Moon clawed his snout when finally the bear backed off.

Blood was everywhere! Quickly running over to the General and Dusk, she was mortified to see them still unconscious. Quickly she ran to get help.
