Jean's POV~
Jean walked into his dorm room #231, and screaming of the utmost pain and anger greeted him. "Eren?!" His head pounded with the sudden unwanted noises. "Is there a fire? Flood? Are you being stabbed? Dying maybe?" Jean dropped his stuff then ran into the other guy's room.
Eren, still screaming, was rolling across the floor. A smug, short looking person Jean had never met before watch this scene as Mikasa —the really hot chick Jean has, uh, admired since middle school— was calmly telling Eren to chill out.
"It's just a game, Eren. No need to freak out so much, you baby..." An annoyed edge gridded sharply under her motherly tone. Jean stared at her momentary, knowing she would not acknowledge his existence unless he personally did something to her "son."
"Uh... Shouldn't you guys be in class?" Jean had no room to talk but that did nothing to stop his mouth from flapping, "it's the first day. You gotta set a good first impression with the professors." His arms aggressively folded themselves against his chest.
The short guy Jean had noticed before looked up. "Then why are you here, hm? Party too hard?" His eyebrow raise was by far the most sassy (and slightly terrifying) Jean had ever seen.
Yes...
"Um..." He was at a loss for words. This shorty was older than him? "That's not really your business, I have a migraine and a stomachache. So I would prefer if you could shut the hell up, Eren!" Jean threw his sunglasses at the now still, moaning body on the floor. He storm away then tripped over his bag and flopped to the floor, his brain too jarred to think properly about what just happened.
Jean picked up his bag and crawled into bed after showering and making his room as dark as possible in the morning sunlight.
Marco's POV~
After his classes, Marco walked towards the school library, set on finding a good book for the English presentation. He wandered for a bit, lost and gapping at the mass amount books, ranging from comics to thick economic textbooks. "What's one that I've wanted to read for a while?" Nothing came to mind. A white noise enter his mind and he stood dumbstruck in the middle of the library.
...
...hm...
...
Marco promptly turned around and left, shaking his head. "There's no way that'd be fair if I choose the book for both Jean and I." He said aloud, glancing out the hallway window. Outside the sky looked like an old bruised that had been pushed too many times. Towards the setting sun it was red with deep purple and blue surrounding the edges while the street lamp cast seemingly yellow glow on the clouds creeping up on the buildings.
"Marco?" A girl called, knocking him from his reverie. He glanced over and saw his brown haired friend, Sasha, with his roommate Connie. They were currently eating sandwiches and Marco could hear the rustling of chips hidden in Sasha's baggy sweatshirt.
"Hey guys." Marco grinned and waved. "What have you been up to?"
Connie grinned. "Well, last night I beat Sha in Mario Kart an-"
"And then I kicked his butt in Mortal Kombat! And Soul Caliber III!" She cut in, shooting her free hand in the air and laughing happily. "I bet I could win in real life too, you're pretty weak, Con."
"Hey, no, I'd definitely win." Connie stated defensively and handed his sandwich to Marco. "I'll prove it, right now. Let's do this Sasha!" She gently set her sandwich in Marco outstretched hand and set her chips to the side.
She grinned menacingly. "Fine, lets go." Suddenly she pulled off an unstable version of the crane, making movie ninja noises as Connie somersaulted across the ground towards her then swiped her foot. Sasha collapse onto of him, snickering and playfully punching his side as he groaned on the floor. "Ask for mercy, or die." Her voice was shaking due to the giggles now escaping both of them.
"Never, I'll die fighting." He flailed but found his arms trapped, so only his legs were moving. Marco started to laugh, be still be careful with his food holding job. Though soon he stopped and gave up, red in the face from her weight resting on his chest the whole time.
Marco handed them their food then they walked Sasha to her room. He yawned and glanced at Connie who seemed rather happy as they headed to their own room.
