*Saturday*

Not much has changed. Only the facts that I've been living on tea and biscuits thanks to Ross, Kayleigh and Rocky are officially together, ditto with Lesley and Rydel and Riker is becoming quickly close to some Sabrina girl I don't really like. No-one likes I meant. I met Stormie and Mark finally though because I spent last night playing XBox with Ross. I'd say we're an unofficial couple.

But I wasn't in the best of moods right now. More like panicking.

I was sitting inside the surgery room, hot and bothered, bawling my eyes off silently and shaking.

"You'll be fine" Ross re-assured me.

"NO I WON'T" I whispered.

"You will, I'll be right here" He smiled and kissed my cheek. "I promise you"

"Okay, since I'll be quiet for the next two days, I wanna tell you that you're such a nice guy" I wiped my tears.

"Aw, you're the best" He hugged me. "Now come on"

I stood up and walked over to the surgery table where he tucked my hair out of the way and helped me fix the gas mask.

"Hey, be happy, you'll be able to use your voice soon" He grinned and I smiled. "See ya on the other side"

"Peace out!" I replied. I did my best not to instantly pass out but the light was so bright.

*Ross' POV*

I watched as Hayley's eyes nearly shut but fluttered open again. She is so scared the anesthesia isn't working on her, sort of.

"Just relax" I stroked her hair and she nodded before her eyes shut and didn't open once again.

"Is she out?" Mr Robert asked.

"Like a light" I nodded. They had just started the surgery when I got a text from Riker asking to pick Sabrina up because she had a problem with her car.

I sighed and quickly left the room heading to the car park. I'm the worst friend ever, leaving my friend for some girl I don't even like.

I didn't have a totally good feeling about driving in the rain either. Especially I have to get into the dual carriage way. As I returned back near Northridge, a sea of red lights was seen ahead so I pressed on the brakes....but nothing...

All that I remember from that moment is my main concern before hitting the car ahead of me: Hayley.

*3 Hours Later*

I woke up on a hospital bed with my whole family circling me.

"What?-ouch" I felt a damp bandage around my head. "Guys, what happened?"

Mum spoke up. "Oh baby, you had a car accident on the way to picking Sabrina up"

"Did I? I can drive?! Last thing I know, we were playing football" I blinked.

"Wait, how old are you Ross?" Rydel asked.

"14, duh!" I exclaimed. They all watched me in horror. "What is it?!"

I managed to make them all jump with that shout and make my heart beat speed up.

"Calm down bro" Rocky smiled. "We're all here for you ok"

"I'm sorry, Ross" Riker said and handed me a tissue.

"What is it for?" I blinked again. He pointed discreetly at my forehead so I felt with my hand to see that it was blood. They all looked so grown up.

"Does anyone have a mirror?" I asked. Rydel handed me hers. My eyes widened.

"Ok, since when do I look like this? I'm confused" I looked at Dad.
