Dear Girl,

We were silent for a moment

While I looked out at the pond

I didn't see you looking at me.

I didn't see you lean in.

I felt your lips on my skin.

I felt heat spread from the kiss on my cheek.

The butterflies I'd been feeling all day,

Turned to dragons.

Those feelings I've been having,

Felt better.

More intense.

I knew

That you were the what I wanted.

And I was ok with it.

I think you were too.
