Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Steve. Ya, that's it. Pretty simple. I'm a pretty simple guy. I don't really know anything about my life before this, one day I just woke up on a beach and all I could remember was Steve. So... I'm assuming that its my name. It might not even be, hell, for all I know my name could be Fabio Richard William the third.

So this beach, ya one day I just woke up on a beach, a lake surrounding me, up a little hill some grass with trees. I started exploring the island in search for any civilization. I didn't find any. Anywhere. I found myself in a nice big flat area where I could see a large amount of the island around me. I just kinda sat there thinking for a while.

After a while it got dark. I heard a really weird noise creeping up behind me, "ssssss" I turned around to see a green...creature slowly walking up behind me. I got a really bad feeling from it so I stood up and started to walk away. It got faster so I started running until I reached an incredibly high mountain. I ran up it as fast as I could to avoid the creature and once I got to the top I couldn't see him anymore. I collected some dirt blocks and built a little hut just large enough to wrap around and hide me from anymore mysterious...lets call them, Creepers.

It was finally morning I tore down my little 5x5 shack and decided I should build a more permanent home. I climbed down the mountain and started chopping down some trees. Once I hade enough wood I spent all day building a house (I thought it was pretty bad-ass too) that night I knew I would be prepared for the creepers that laid ahead of me.

About an hour later it was midnight. I waited in my house but didn't see any creepers, "maybe I'll just go check outside" I thought to myself. I stepped out my door and looked around. All of a sudden my arm started hurting so bad it felt like it was killing me, it was horrible, I looked down to see an arrow sticking out of my elbow! I didn't know what was happening. And again in my leg the same excruciating pain as my elbow. I managed to get in my house and close the door. I spent the rest of the night huddled in a corner recovering from the pain.

When it was finally morning, I decided to make some tools to fight for my honor and y'know my life. I soon found that wood just wouldn't suffice. I needed to find something stronger, stone, maybe even iron. I figured underground would be a good place to look so, that's where I began the hunt.
