I dropped my book and looked up at Serena who was opening my bedroom door, "he's here." I said trying to mask my nervousness.

"Should we go out to meet him now then?" She asked

I took a breath "ya, let's go."

I got out of my bed and we started to walk across the shore until we could find him. The ocean splashed cool air on our faces which only made us more nervous and cold. We walked for a few minutes but then we could see him in the distance lying on the beach. Serena gasped and grabbed onto my hand to hold it as she saw him just lying there. We walked up a little closer and he started sitting up and rubbing his head like he had a headache from floating in with the waves.

"H-hello?" Serena said softly still holding onto my arm as we walked up behind him. He turned around sharply, "Who are you? Where am I? Wait, who-who am I?" He asked the both if us.

"I'm Steve," I started, "this is Serena. Were on an island just the two- well now the three, of us. And I think that your name is Gael."

"Gael...Gael," he said as if he was testing out his name for approval, "ya, it sounds sort of familiar. So, it's only just the two of you here? Nobody else?"

"Ya, we've ventured the whole entire island in search for civilization but, nothing. We've even tried to boat off the island but-" I started

"it's like it didn't want us to leave or something, y'know the island." Serena completed being extra dramatic and turning to face the land mass behind us.

"Oh." Gael said looking down at the ground probably a bit confused. I was still a bit confused on this whole thing and how or why we got here.

"But we have a house and we've just started building another one if you want to come see." Serena said welcoming

He looked up, "ya, that'd be cool."
