It was the first day of school. My dark brown hair was combed in a tidy ponytail. My nails were perfect and neat. My eyeshadow was flawless. Everything was perfect.I sat next to my best friend: Mary. She said something about someone at the Next Door café having the apple crumble she loves (but everybody else hates) but the geography teacher interrupted her before she finished the sentence. He started talking so I got really bored.
But when I turned to see the map behind us I saw someone. A new guy. His book was labeled Robin. He was really cute. His skin was a natural-tanned color. His eyes were really dark, almost black. His hair was curly and chocolaty brown. Maybe a little too cute.
