Chapter 3: Christmas Cheer

Marinette looked through her window seeing the snow covering Paris streets. Taking a sip from her hot coco, she was wearing a sweater designed by herself. She then heard a yawn frown Tikki flying towards her.

"You alright Tikki?" Marinette asked the Kwami as Tikki nodded. "Just a bit cold and all." Tikki stated shivering a bit as Marinette covered her up with a lil Kwami sweater. Tikki gasped, giving a smile to Marinette.

"You shouldn't have! Making this sweater for me. You must've felt the pain doing it." Marinette chuckled a bit. "It's actually possible. Ive seen Cinderella do it." Marinette stated taking a sip from her coco.

Feeling the winter breeze through her hair she then suddenly thought of Adrien. She sighed dreamily receiving a sigh from Tikki. "If he only knows." Marinette muttered as the snowflakes started falling from the sky.

Meanwhile at the Agrestes mansion.

Adrien poorly sighed looking at the kids having fun out with the snow. The children screamed in joy making the tension between them gleeful. But Adrien wasn't receiving the tension, he was stuck in his petty room looking at other people having fun. The only think he felt the spirit when he was with Ladybug. She mad her happy

She reminded him of his Mom. (MAMA AGRESTE)

Plagg frowned a bit considering his owner was all gloomy at the Happiest Season. Yes, Plagg may be all lazy and stubborn but he still cared for Adrien. "Kid, I know you want to have fun. You can transform into Chat Noir to raise up your heart." Plagg stated, slowly Adrien's frown turned into a smile as he stared back at Plagg.

"Even though your all lazy and all. But I consider you as a brother." Adrien spoke as he started to transform.

Chat Noir was out of the mansion he then already felt the tension of Christmas spirit. He then saw kids playing snowball fight as the cat chuckled.

"Hello kids, would mind if this Chat could tag along?" Chat asked, at first the kids were whispering at each other making Chat sad a bit. But then they started throwing him snowballs because they are ignorant kids.

I mean.

They know it's Chat Noir. Because a spirit told them.

The group started shooting snowballs at each other. Some adults felt awed at the scenery as Chat dropped a smile unto is face.

'So this is what Christmas Season feels..' Chat thought giving out a smile that would always be in his memory.

Meanwhile..

Marinette heard her name being called. "Marinette! Alya's here to visit you!" Sabine exclaimed, Marinette hurriedly went down the stairs almost tripping in one of the steps. But then she was so in hurry she then runs accidentally on the bakery's walls.

Receiving some looks from Alya. The girl let out a soft whine, still on the wall.

"Ooh that gonna hurt." Alya commented helping Marinette up. Marinette brushed up the dirt of her smiling.

"That was an awkward entrance. So Alya what are you doing here?" Marinette asked when Alya fished out her phone going through her gallery. "Check this out girl, Chat Noir playing snow fight with kids isn't it adorable." Alya told, Marinette admits it's kind of adorable seeing Chat went all happy the season.

She had noticed that nearly every patrol Chat Noir has been all gloomy a bit. It wasn't the same Chat she always knew, she does care about him. But it wasn't that obvious.

"So have you posted that in your blog hmm?" Marinette asked, pointing at the phone as Alya nodded.

"Of course I did, so that you wouldn't delete it and steal my phone." Alya smirked, Marinette grinned sheepishly for the fact that she had to steal some phones to stop embarrassing herself.

The bakery door bell the rang, as the cold winter air passed in. The boy went in closing the door as he gave out a smug grin,

The two turned their heads to see the one and only, Chat Noir. He was covered in snow which clearly means the snowball fight was tough.

"Bonjour!" He bowed winking at Marinette, she rolled her eyes. Sabine the was in shock as she went to Chat's direction. "Chat Noir, what may I help you?" She asked, Chat gave out a smile.

He leaned on the counter, making one of the costumes wheeze. "10 croissants please, I'll pay you later." Chat said as Sabine nodded, handing him a bag of croissants.

Marinette tilted her head at Chat, when he turned his head he saw her staring at him. "Princess, you should take a picture it might last longer." Chat told, making Marinette snap out of her thoughts.

She then flushed in embarrassment as she stomps her feet.

Chat then ran out of the bakery, Alya blinked smirking. "Follow me Mari! I wanna know where Chat Noir is off to!" Alya exclaimed pulling Marinette with her. Running after Chat they came bumping by the people, which Alya Cesaire, Ladyblog Owner, A very own reporter, slash journalist, didn't care.

The two came across an orphanage which lead them in conclusion.

"Wow! This would be the top news in my blog. When is ladybug gonna do some Christmas action. Chat Noir is already leading!" Alya told making Marinette eyes widen. She forgot that she needs to give some cheer.

"Oh Alya, I forgot something I better head back home." Marinette excused running into an alley to head back home. Which left Alya staring at an empty road, not really empty.

Getting out a bag of treats Marinette then started transforming to go to a toy store to buy some gifts. Getting out as Ladybug she then saw Chat Noir plastering a huge grin on his face.

"My lady followed by my footsteps aye, I was the early bird to give the whole town some cheer. So don't you go getting the credit." Chat showed off making Ladybug raise her hand but immediately placed it down. For he was right about that.

"You got me there, how bout we spread some Christmas cheer." Ladybug winked making Chat smile. "Of Course my Lady.. Of course " he told, jumping around Paris with his Lady. It was already fine for him, whatever he'll receive at Christmas being with his Lady is already enough for him to be happy.

Passing by house Ladybug then tripped making her get stuck in the chimney making Chat chuckle, "I thought Santa Claus was suppose to do that job, I didn't know you were Santa." He joked, receiving a kick from Ladybug.

She then spoke, "Instead of laughing at me how bout you help me get out!" Making Chat pull her up receiving a fall from her as they both rolled making Chat on top of her.

"Uh oh uhm.. Heh?"

||Moments Later||

Marinette felt guilty at first that she forgot to give Chat Noir a sweater during patrol. Tapping her pencil on her sketch book she heard a tap from the window. Tilting her head, she opened it seeing Chat Noir grinning ear to ear.

It was a bit surprising at first, Marinette let out a soft gasp making Chat chuckle a bit.

"Hey Princess, Merry Christmas here have a gift." He told, giving her a wrapped gift she then simply smiled, he scratched his head nervously when he spoke again, "Since you Ladybug are close could you give this to her." He added handing her another gift.

Marinette places it on the table while she gets his gift, "This kitty should have a gift too." Giving it to the Chat he then stared at it as if it was cash.

"Thanks Princess." He thanked, giving Marinette a smile as he hugged her.

Marinette blushed but then hugged back. The snow fell from the sky as they heard Christmas Cheer on the air.
