"Where do we go now?" I took a last peek at the home that I have been staying for my entire life, then shut the door.

Caden's eyes were closed. He seemed to be focusing on something.

Out of the blue, he asked, "When's your eighteenth birthday?"

"What?" I blurted, looking at him quizzically. I thought about his question and jerked in surprise. "It's today. The fifteenth of June."

"Well, since it's way past midnight, it should have been unlocked."

By now, I was completely lost. I had no idea what he was talking about. "Please, Caden. Please enlighten me of what you have just said."

Drace giggled. I turned to her. "Do you, perhaps, know what's going on, Drace?" She nodded.

"Tell me."

"When one of you, the royalty, turns eighteen, your mind communication is unlocked. But since you've been living here for quite a long time, it must have faded a little, your ability. That should be why you were so oblivious to it. You felt nothing, Eleanor?" She explained.

"No."

Drace sighed and continued, "That will be a problem. We might need to fix this. But I don't know how. Maybe Caden, Your Highness, can help with this part."

Caden was frowning a little. Her words struck me. I held up my hand. "Drace, you said something about royalty. Now, what's with 'Your Highness'?"

She smiled. "I know it's hard to receive all these information is such a short span of time, but I think it's really time for you to understand the situation you're in, Your Highness."

"You see, you're from a royal family. That is why we call you 'Your Highness'. But to be honest, this is all I know."

So I'm a princess... Then why am I here?

"And Caden? You called him that too. Is he..."

"Ah yes. He's a royalty too."

"But if he's a prince, then why does he refer to me as 'Your Highness'?"

Caden replied, "For safety measures, Eleanor. There's still a lot you don't know. Now, we need to solve your problem. Give me a minute."

He closed his eyes and something magical happened.

"Find your siblings, now that I've given you back your ability. Save your kingdom. Together, your powers will be undeniable."

It felt like the wind that blew past us was talking. Whispering loudly, in fact. And my head started hurting.

Clutching onto it, I kneeled on the ground and whimpered. "It hurts, Caden. Make it stop, please."

Then, the pain became so strong. I shouted, "Please! I beg of you, make it go away." I was squirming on the ground now.

Caden squatted beside me and said, "Stay strong, Eleanor. It'll be over soon. Look at me."

I breathed hard and look into his wonderful eyes. The last thing I remembered was closing my eyes and blacking out on the ground beneath me.

"When will she wake up?"

Groaning, I moved my body a little on a soft surface. I hissed and winced when I felt a sharp pain in my head.  "Ouch..."

"Eleanor! Oh, thank goodness you're awake."

I squinted at the blinding lights and saw Bailey. She hurried to my side and hugged me. Her hug was so tight that I couldn't really breathe. Oh gosh...

Caden had his hand fingers wavering near his mouth as he choked back a laugh. I glared at him. "Bailey, I'm afraid you're killing her."

Immediately, she let go of me and brushed my fringe behind my ear. She squished my cheeks, patted my hair and everywhere to check for any injuries. I grabbed her wrists and placed them on her lap. I smiled and said, "I'm fine, Bailey. Please keep your hands to yourself. I feel molested."

She gave me a hard look and chided, "You ungrateful child. Showing no appreciation to the elder!"

All of us burst out laughing. Then, I noticed Leila, standing beside Drace, happily chatting away.

"Leila!" She looked up and her mouth spread out into a big smile. Running towards me, she threw her small arms around my neck.

Her eyes gleamed as she announced, "I found my sister."
