Author's Note
I'm not exactly sure what the overall theme of this story is. It's meant to be serious, kind of involving fantasy elements. Someone could interpret it as a romance, but it's not that exactly. It has romantic elements, but not intended to be a romance.
However, the story is based on a situation in my life. It's a pretty heartbreaking situation. If you know me personally, then you know what this is about. If you don't, I'm sure you can assume what's going on in my life through the words on these pages. I wrote the first chapter the day that everything crashed. Later that night, everything was okay again, and I was so much happier then the time I wrote the first chapter. But, still, nothing is what it once was at this moment. Therefor the struggle continues. And therefor, this story continues.
