Why do we wear hijabs?

Many people wonder when they look at our heads..

Why are they wearing that?

That's what I heard being said!

When they ask me why, it feels like I don have the strength

To answer their question in a full detailed length

So I just use the excuse of my religion when I know that's not right

Cuz there was no force, no burden when I put on my light

I turned it on myself and that's what they should know

Put aside religion and look at how we go

We wear it for our safety, satisfaction, and our pride

So if they ask me one more time I will say I'm sorry that I lied!

I wear it by my will and I will always continue and apply!


What I have learned throughout my entire life..

It's mostly for those who look, with no good intention

Who knows what's in their mind, so we cover for protection!

It's hides our beauty, but not our strong and determined will

To wear this piece of clothing that I wear today and I will still

Until I die, all the belief I will fulfill

So this message is for all my Muslim sisters that have faith in Islam

Come on and answer those idiots directly in command

There's nothing to be scared of when you know that you are right

You don have to ask for help or even put on a fight

Cuz first of all our hijab speaks as its own might

We will gather bravely and answer those men

We will answer them in full, leaving them with nothing to comprehend!

This is part of our life!

Don worry girls this is our time!

We can make things flow

I will tell them what it is mine

The question is what do U have to show

It's not just about the proof we have, as long as we all are brave

To show those people that we know what!

And this is how we engrave!

Into our hearts and deep in our soul, is the respect for Islam

So just don stare at me, show me how much you are of a man

To come and tell me what I'm wearing is not part of your plan!

We don't care cuz we have our own respect and strong emaan!

And we will continue as long as we stand!
