~Cassie's POV~

Darkness, that's all I saw.

Pain, that's all I felt.

Tears, that's all that spilled.

This pain was unbearable. A few moments later, the pain stopped. I felt... free? I think that's the word. Everything started to shake. I lost balance and fell to my knees while holding my stomach. I closed my eyes, but something told me to open them back. I opened my eyes only to find myself in a field with flowers and a tree with a swing. It felt warm and peaceful here. I started walking slowly towards the tree with the swing.

As soon as I got there, I started to swing. I felt... free, and happy here... As I swung I started laughing. I felt like a kid again. I felt like I had a childhood for the first time. I started smiling until I felt a hand touch my shoulder and a breeze kiss my arms. I glanced back only to see my Mother. She was smiling warmly and wore a tan gown that went below her knees. Her hair were in curls and she had this beautiful necklace on. I smiled back at her.

"Hello again, my daughter." She hugged me and smiled again.

"Hi mom, I missed you so much." I whispered into her chest.

"As did I sweetie, I see my grand babies is almost here." I nodded and looked down.

"The last thing I remember is blood dripping from under me.. Im scared mom." I sniffled but she kept that damn smile on her face.

"Darling, don't be scared. You are strong, stronger than me... You'll make it through. I love you, see you later sweetie." She kissed my forehead and started to fade. I tried grabbing her arm but my hand made her vanish completely. I cried until everything was black again.
