Chapter 28

Adrien's POV

Adrien was laying on the edge of Marinette's bed as he watched her pace around, nervously. He held a bag full of ice up to his forehead as he groaned in pain.
" Does it still hurt?" Marinette pressed her hand on his cheek.
" I'm fine, my love. I'm just a bit dizzy."
She took the sit next to him.
" So.. What are we going to do?" Carlos asked, leaning on a wall.
" We clearly can't fight those things. They're too strong. We need to go for their leader. " The girl told the two boys.
" Then let's do it. My headaches are gone." Adrien took Plagg in his hands.
" You're okay, Plagg?" The kwami was trying to stop it's head from spinning.
" He can transform you, even though he's still dizzy. Don't worry." Tikki flew off her pillow and hugged Plagg, a trace of concern sprawling over her tiny face.
" He won't die, you know?" Scar rolled his eyes.
" Ready?" Mari asked her friends as they both nodded.
" Tikki, Spots On!"

HawkMoth's POV

Finally, my plan is ready! I'll soon have my beloved miraculouses!
" Sithian, call all the destroyers here. Victory is close." The great villan ordered the twisted creature in front of him as it nodded it's head, bowing.

Marinette's POV

The three heroes jumped from rooftop to rooftop, avoiding the destroyers. They found themselves at the base of the Eiffel Tower. Ladybug walked slowly, her eyes sharp. Suddenly, the three heard a 'click'. The heroine turned around and saw a plate under Chien Marron's foot.
" Uh-Uh." He said before the ground collapsed and the heroes fell into a big hole of darkness, screaming while they fell. Gotta find a grip, gotta find a grip! Ladybug looked around her and saw nothing but dirt. Before she could react, she met a wet surface. A giant underground lake. Ladybug went to the bottom. She kicked the water and flung her arms until she reached the surface. The bluenette swam slowly as she got out of the cold water, panting heavily.
" Brrr.. Everyone knows cats don't like water but I hate it!" Chat puffed, shaking off some water drops.
" For the first time ever, I agree with you." Chien embraced himself, in order to retain heat.
" We need to keep moving. The villan must be somewhere around here." Ladybug walked cautiously, the boys alongside her. Chat twitched his ears.
" Hey. I hear something." He moved his leather ears and froze.
" Quick! It's coming towards us!" The hero whisper-yell as he dragged Ladybug and Chien Marron into the shadows. They heard breathing. The ground began to shake. One of those deformed creatures appeared, rubbing the handle of it's sharp axe. It stopped for a moment and looked around it. Please, don't let it find us! The girl felt her heart beats go up to her ears. The destroyer narrowed it's eyes and kept on moving, it's weapon grazing the dirt-covered floor. Ladybug let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
" Come on." Chat grabbed the heroine's hand and guided the two along the underground corridors.
" I can't see a thing!" Chien was shaking his arms, blindly.
" I've got night vision. Follow moi." The cat-like boy smirked as he put his hand on Chien's right shoulder. Ugh.. It's so creepy down here.. Everything is engulfed by darkness.. Literally. They eventually came to a crisscross. Torches hanged on the walls were lighting up the room.
" Wich way to go?" Ladybug asked her lover.
" No idea." Chat twitched his ears but nothing new came.
" Here's my domain." Chien lifted up his delicate nose, closing his eyes to breathe in the scent. He opened his eyes widely before he told Chat Noir wich way to go. A few minutes later, a bright light blinded the three. Ladybug looked through her eyelashes and saw the villan she least aspected to see.
" Hello, Ladybug."

Hey guys! Another chapter up!
Sorry for not updating more but I have a lot of exams I need to study for. I'll try to update (not a promise) once a day.
