Chapter 13

I looked at my phone. Lauren was almost here I was going to meet her for the first time. She was going to save me.

Austin and Shawn were really good friends when I was dating Austin, but when I found Austin cheated on me Shawn comforted me. He made me feel worth it.

I didn't think I would date for a while because my heart was broken, but Shawn convinced me to. So I did. Shawn didn't really talk to Austin anymore since Austin was mad at him. I mean it was Austin's fault.

I have been with Shawn for the last year. At the beginning or the year, we would go out like every Friday. I started seeing him less and less because of his football games or he would go out with the boys. Which I let slide. I would let him go out instead or being with me.

When we did go out however, I treasure those dates even if they were the best.

I didn't want to admit it to him, but I missed him. I didn't they to talk to him often. Then I started to talk to Lauren and she was the highlights of my day. She would talk to me instead of blowing me off. I got really close to her and when she mentioned if I had a boyfriend I totally forget.

I got really nervous on how she would treat me because I had a boyfriend. I felt bad for both of them. Except Shawn had no clue because I barely talked to him and he would just want to kiss. He never asked me how my day was when he saw me in the halls just push me against the lockers and kiss me.

Then, he would turn to his friends and leave he never said goodbye. His friends would fist bump him I think for kissing me. Apparently they were on good terms now because they were sitting next to each other with a blond girl in between them. They were drunk laughing at something. I just wanted to see Lauren and I wanted to leave because Shawn was just wasting my time.

Lauren POV :

Lauren 🌹: hey I'm almost here

Which was a lie I was actually outside debating on whether or not to open the door. I was so nervous. I could hear the music and loud drunk laughter from inside the bowling alley.

Camz 😘: plz hurry up

Lauren 🌹: okay

As soon as I texted her I pushed open the door. There was a counter and a scrawny guy who sat behind it. I got some bowling shoes and put them on since I couldn't go in without them. I pushed slowly walked into the other room where the alley actually was. I saw a small brunette sitting two tables from the obnoxiously loud drunk kids.

I felt so bad she looked so sad. I jut wanted to run over and hug her. I secretly brought a rose for her which I kept hidden in my leather jacket.  Camila was holding her phone tightly staring intently at the screen.

I finally walked over to the little booth she was sitting at. I slid in. My heart was pounding.

"Hey," I said.

"Omg Lauren thank you so much," she gave me the biggest hug. She smelled good as well. Her hair was thrown into a small braid with a little pink bow. She had on a white lace skirt and a cute light pink blouse on.

I wish I could've kissed her right there.

"I'm sorry this is such a weird way of meeting. But thank you. Can we please leave," she said quietly I think so that they couldn't hear. But I don't think they would have anyways.

"Anytime," I had a lot of confidence so I kissed her on the forehead and she started to blush.

"Just a sec Camz," I said I had a plan and I was going to make Shawn mad.

Camila's POV :

She had called me Camz. It was so real I've never heard her say it only over text and it was amazing. It made my heart flutter. I pulled her in for one more hug. And whispered thank you to her again. She got up and took me by the hand. It had gotten colder. She looked over at me and took off her jacket.

"Here," she said handing it to me. The leather jacket was warm from being on her for a while.

"Ow!"

Something from her jacket stabbed me. 

"Shit," she said. She reached her hand into the jacket and pulled out a rose, "I was going to give this before I gave you my jacket I'm sorry."

"Thank you," I said.

"Come on. I have to show someone that your mine," she said in an authoritative tone. I nodded and she pulled me over to the table with all the people.

"Hey Shawn!" She yelled over their laughter. Shawn's head cocked up towards us.

"This is for you not treating your girlfriend," she leans in and kisses me hard. I almost stumbled backwards, but then I feel Lauren's strong hand on my back. She was holding me. She started kissing me harder until it turned into a make out session in front of my boy-- ex-boyfriend.

His jaw was dropped open. I saw him getting angry and my heart started beating.

"Hey and Shawn, don't think of hurting Camz anymore because you will never anything but dust that we step on. She's mine so get over yourself and who ever dates you next. Damn I feel sorry for her. Your so stupid for treating her like shit because all you are is a little piece of shit," she yelled at him grabbing my waist to make sure he knew.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" He yelled.

"More than you'll ever be," she said. This time I pulled her in for a kiss. I saw Shawn standing up.

Lauren grabbed onto my hand again and we ran. We took off our bowling shoes and I hit him with one of mine. I grabbed my heels and she picked me up bridal style.

She put me down in front of her car and she gave me my purse and opened the door for me. Once she got in we were off.

"Oh my god! That was awesome," she said.

"That was the best thing anyone's done for me," I say making sure she knows.

"Anytime, Camz," Lauren says to me. She squeezes my hand and kisses my cheek. I blush.

"We're going to Ally's house, right? I ask.

"Yup. We're about ten minutes away," she tells me. I nod and turn some music. She was listening to a CD last so that came on. It was a Lana Del Rey song. I started singing along.

"You like her too?" She asks.

"Yeah," I say and continue singing. I hear her laugh next to me and she starts to sing with me.
