Jubilee's P. O. V.
I drove to the nearest park to clear my head. I just need to relax. Seeing him again brought back so many memories. Some good and bad. I parked where no one could see me and sat sat on the swing. I looked at the necklace he gave me a sighed.
*Flash back*
I spent most of my teenage years dancing all over the world. I\There was really no time for friends. Just work work work work work work.I would work super hard everyday. I had to be home schooled since I was well known. I loved dancing and meeting other people, but I begged my mom to let me take a break. I wanted to go to a normal school. It was my Senior year and I wanted to be at a normal high school. After taking some thought into it, she decided to let me live a normal life. There was only one catch.I couldn't stay in Arizona. I had to move to California with my a\Aunt Lucy. It wasn't what I expected, but I didn't have a problem with that. So a few days after school began, I came to her house to get settled. I used to visit all the time.
After driving for hours, I finally arrived at her house. I drove alone because I needed some space. When I pulled up to her house, she greeted me with welcome arms. "I'm so glad to see you love! Let's get you settled in. I have so much to tell you." "Oh I'm so glad to be here Aunt Lucy."
We grabbed my bags and went inside the house. On our way up the stairs, I heard people laughing and talking. I didn't really pay attention to that. I just want to get some sleep. We went into my old room and sat down. She went in the bathroom. "Jubilee I have something to tell you." I laid down on the bed. "What is it Auntie?"
She came out of the bathroom with a big suitcase. "Since you are staying with me, you have to keep a low profile. So I will be giving you a disguise." I gave her a weird face. A Makeover? "Auntie, I don't need a makeover. I haven't been here in years. I don't think people will recognize me. I don't think it's a good idea."
She open the suitcase and it was filled with all kinds of makeup. I was amazed. I have never seen so much makeup. I don't like wearing makeup. She placed both hands one her hips. "Look Jubilee, you have to do this. Especially if you don't your fans to go crazy. That would ruin the plan. Besides I won't be putting a lot of makeup on you." She did have a point. I didn't want people to think of me as a star. I want to be considered a normal girl. "You might not even need makeup. Like you said, nobody will recognize you because you haven't been here so long. Now if we make a few changes, they definitely won't know who you are."
She waited on me to respond. She knew I was going to give in. She started smiling at me. "Okay okay okay. I'll do it, but let's not do anything crazy!" She began jumping up and down. "Yay! Don't worry, you will love it. I will warn you, I have to cut your hair." She can't be serious!
"What!? I thought we weren't making major changes." She sat me down in her favorite stool and pulled out her scissors. "Do you want this makeover or not?" Without saying a word saying a word, I quickly sat down. I looked in the mirror one last time and took a deep breath. I'm going to miss my hair. She moved the mirror so I couldn't see. "Now, let's get started!"
After spending at least 2 hours getting a makeover, she was finally finish. She dyed and cut my hair, she gave me hazel eye contacts and very small makeup. She also placed a beauty mark on my cheek. She gave me some different clothes. I slowly became impatient. She hid every mirror. I couldn't see myself. "Okay, I'm finished. Go tell me what you think." I walked in the hall and seen a big mirror. When I walked up to the mirror, I was surprised. I couldn't even recognize myself.
"I told you it would turn out good. What do you think?" I was shocked. The clothes were different, my hair, and my eyes. If someone knew me well, they could probably tell who I was. Hopefully nobody can tell. "Thank you so much!" I jumped up and gave her a hug. "There are some people waiting for you downstairs." Once she said that I paused. I slowly paused and turned around.
"You mean to tell me that there are some people waiting downstairs for me?! Why?!" She sighed and fixed my hair. "Listen, it's just a test to see if anyone notices. Besides, they are a few of your friends. They won't even recognize you. Hopefully, now let's go down there."
She went down the stairs. I walked down the stairs and stopped. I heard her talking to the people down stairs. "Well I want all of you to meet my friend Jubilee. She is senior as well. She will be staying here until the end of the year. Jubilee come down here!" Here I go...
*End of flashback*
I looked up and saw my best friend Aneesa walking up to me. We ran up and gave each other a hug. "Aneesa! I've missed you so much!" I let go and we looked at each other. "Girl you look good. I missed you too! Your mother told me you left. I knew where you would be. This place brings back so many memories. Let's head back to the house. I have so much to tell you." She began walking and then she stopped when she realized I wasn't with her.
"Come on Jubilee. Don't tell me it's because of Michael. If he is bothering you, I will take care of it. Now let's go." After thinking about it for a second, I decided to go with her. When we arrived at my mother's house, everyone was having a good time. I went inside and got a plate to eat. Aneesa and I spent an hour talking and catching up. I hadn't seen Michael, so I figured he left.
I had to go to the bathroom, so I went upstairs.(I still had my drink in my hand) when I made it upstairs I heard someone in the bathroom. I patiently waited for them to come out. As I reached to grab the door with my free hand, the door flew opened and my drink went everywhere. "I'm so sorry Jubilee." Then I knew he was here...Michael. I didn't say word. However I was really mad because it was all over my favorite dress. To avoid yelling at him, I decided to go back downstairs. Before I could take three steps, he picked me up and took me to my room.
"Michael what are you doing?!" I said while trying to get him to let go. He is so strong! He threw me on the bed. He walked over to the door, closed it, and locked it. "I'm telling you what I'm doing. I'm here to apologize. That's all I came here to do. Now I will leave you alone if you promise me you will think about it." I stood up and walked over to him.
"Will you leave me alone?" He smirked and pulled me closer to him. "Yeah, but I will be coming over your house tonight so we can talk."
Before he walked off I pushed him against the door. "Who said you could come over my house?" He gave me a kiss on the cheek and whispered in my ear, "I did." Lord give me strength..
