Jubilee's Point of View

There was a knock on the door. I walked up to it, "Who is it?" "Michael!" Here we go....

I opened the door and Michael came in. "Hey beautiful. I think it's time that we talk." he said while sitting on the couch. "Why do you want to talk now Michael? I mean we haven't seen each other in about 7 years. Not to mention the last time we saw each other, things were crazy." He walked to me and stared into my eyes. "You are just so beautiful Jubilee."

I instantly got mad. He's not seeing my point. "Are you even listening to me?!" He placed his hands in his pocket while bit his and looked in my eyes. His stare was starting to become uncomfortable. I walked to the couch and sat down. He used to avoid our arguments all the time.......

*Flashback*

After the first few days of school, Rogers and I got really close. He even told me to call him Prince. He only lets a few people call him that, so it made me feel special. Anita swears that he likes me, but I don't think so.

Michael has been acting a little strange lately. Aneesa told me that he broke up with Lisa. She said she wasn't surprised at all because their relationship was on and off. Anita decided to throw a little get together (just for us) on a Saturday. She invited everyone except Lisa.

Aneesa, Anita and I got everything together before the boys came over. See that everyone knew who I was (except Lisa, but that doesn't matter because she's not coming) I decided not to have the disguise on. The doorbell rung, catching all of our attention.

Aneesa and I raced down the stairs. I laughed because she fell on her way down. I opened the door while still laughing at her.

Michael and Rogers was standing there with a few bags in their hands. When I looked at them, they were both staring at me. Did I have a booger in my nose? Then I realized that I didn't have my disguise. "Hey y'all come on in,"

They both smiled and walked in. I tried to take the bags out of Michael's hand, but he wouldn't let me. "I have this Jubilee. Let me put it up Rose." He knows I don't like it when he calls me by my middle name. Before I could say something, Aneesa walked over to me. "Come here Jubilee."

Aneesa pulled me into the kitchen. "Girl, do you not realize what is happening?" I gave her a really weird look. "What are you talking about?"

Anita walked in with a apple in her hand. "She is trying to tell you that there is tension in the room. Michael and Rogers have a crush on you. I mean think about it. Before you came back, they were super close. Now that you are here, there is always tension."

Maybe she is right. I don't think it's true. My thoughts were interrupted when we heard yelling. Anits took another bite of her apple. "I told you." Aneesa and I looked at each other and ran into the living room. Michael and Rogers were laughing at something. "Man I told you-" Michael stop because he saw the worried look on our faces. He gave us a confused look. "What's wrong?"

Aneesa and I tried to play it off by laughing at each other. "Nothing, we thought you two were arguing."Aneesa said while squeezing my hand. Prince walked up to me. "No, we were talking about sports. Now let's have some fun!" We all sat down in the living room. Michael seem a little distant, but I didn't pay attention.

While we were playing games, I notice Michael glaring at Prince whenever he talked to me. When we were playing cards, Michael wouldn't stop staring at me. I would try to give him hints, but he wouldn't stop. I tried to keep my eyes on the cards, but I couldn't stop looking at him. I mean I did have a small crush on him.

Someone called Anita's house phone and said that they needed to speak to Michael. Michael went to answer it in the phone. We patiently waited for him to come back. All of a sudden, we heard Michael yelling. He slammed the phone and walked outside. I ran outside to see what was up.

When I walked on the porch, he was pacing back and forth. "Michael what's wrong?" I guess I must have scared him because he jumped a little bit. "It's nothing Jubilee. Go back inside the house. "No Michael, not until you tell me what's wrong." He knew I wasn't going to leave. He at down. "It was Lisa. She was just saying some hurtful things. I'll be okay. Go inside."

I sat beside him. "Are you sure you're okay?" He grabbed my hand and smiled. "Do you like Rogers?" I stood up. "No Michael, he is just a good friend. You didn't answer my question. Are you sure you're okay?" He stood up and placed my hair behind my ear. "You're so beautiful Jubilee." I was starting to get mad. He is trying to get around from answer my question.

Before I could say something, he gave me a kiss on the lips. I didn't pull away. He deepened the kiss.The kiss was absolutely amazing. Then the door opened. We both looked up and seen Aneesa looking at us. "Y'all nasty!" She slammed the door and I chuckled. "Listen Jubilee, I'll call you later on tonight, okay." He gave me one last kiss before going back inside the house.

*End of flashback*

Michael sat down next to me with tears in his eyes. He gave me a kiss. "Jubilee I need you."
