Mayumi was sitting in a dark room, with a swinging light on the roof. Not knowing how long she had been in there, she searched for her phone and found that it had been an hour and a half since seeing Tatsuya fight with the goons that had kidnapped her. Mayumi quickly ready herself to use her powers and blow down the door in front of her, but for some reason she couldn't. Her powers were being nullified by something, making it so that she wasnt able to use them. Noticing this, she began looking for anything that would allow her to break the lock on the door. As she looked around, she thought back to a similar incident that had happened back in middle school, where terrorists had attacked.

Mayumi ran outside the door to her classroom, and found her fellow classmates running away from men in kabuki masks armed with automatic rifles. They were taking students hostage and forcing them into the gym. As they were looking around for other students, they spotted Mayumi. She quickly ran away as fast as her legs could take her, but the terrorists behind were already gaining on her, and were about to catch her when she turned a sharp corner and made them hit the wall. Before they could get back up, Mayumi climbed the stairs to the next floor and ran out of sight into the closest room she could find. As soon as Mayumi closed the door she leaned against a wall and slid down on to the floor. She wondered what she was going to do to get out past the men that were searching for her. The thought of killing or injuring someone frightened her down to her very essence and if the time came up she wouldn't be able to do it. Going through the possibilities in her head, she was shot back to reality with the sound of gunshots and yelling coming from the men that were chasing her. There yells were cut out after about a half an hour along with the shots. For a straight min that felt like forever, silence filled the air. She jumped back from the door when she heard a mans voice asking if anyone was there and that he was from the police. She was hesitant at first but spoke up readying herself for a fake, but luckily it wasn't. The man opened the door greeting her with a smile and told her that she needed to follow him out of the building. He said that they had taken out the terrorists in the building and were evacuating all of the students just in case of another attack. As she made it inside the chopper, her head snapped back to reality as she continued to look for something that would help her escape.
