Something Different?

Days went by and it was now Thursday. Every evening now my mother has forced me to hang out with Sam. I find it rather annoying really. It's like he is some lost puppy, always fallowing me around. I was not looking forward to todays hang out session, especially since I have had a long rough day. I ran home after school, and locked my self in my room. I couldn't hang with him, not today. I am so stressed, I sit down and cry. Then I hear the faint pitter patter of rain fall amongst my tin roof. I am calm again. I crawl under the blankets on my bed and think. I never think about one thing, I just think. I was lost in thought, when I heard a pebble hit my window. There Sam is in the pouring rain, trying to get my attention. Turns out he wants me to come outside to him. I put on a jacket, even though that will not keep me dry for long and I sneak out my window, and down the tree. It is almost so dark that I can barely see him. He whispers in my ear "run away with me Alice." I am puzzled yet again. He repeats himself. Is he ok? "Alice, run away with me, be free, be my queen." He shouts. After I quiet him down, we start taking a walk into the woods. I am not sure where we are going but the soft silence and warmth from him feels inviting. We get to this little shabby cottage. It is rundown and looks like it has been abandoned for years. Cobwebs fill the window sill, and bat poop covers the roof. He turns to me and tells me in the proudest of voices. "That's, my  home." I say nothing rude for not everyone can afford everything. He must of caught me looking around, for he said he had no parents. It was only him living here all alone.

We go in and it is actually some what inviting. I sit down on a half eaten up sofa. We sat there in the dark that night. We talked about deep stuff. It wasn't the stuff that you tell a group of people, it was more of the stuff you tell that one person. The person who makes you feel safe. That's when it hit me. I was starting to fall for this bad boy looking, but actually a big softy guy.  The moonlight shined through the window and casted a shimmer on his eyes. It made him glow. We got closer and closer. Eventually my head was on his chest as we was laying under the moonlight, for some parts of his roof was missing.  "My beautiful flower, for nothing on this earth can compare to your beauty." He said softly. I felt my cheeks get super red. I don't know what was going on, or what I was feeling but I liked it. We talked until I fell asleep in his arms. The smell of dew awoken me as I slipped out to sneak back into my room.

Luckily my mom did not catch me, for if she had id be dead. I got a shower and freshened up then went downstairs, ate some breakfast, and left a note that read "Dear mom went out to hang with Sam, be back later love you." Then I went back into the woods and found the sleeping boy. I kissed his forehead, as he woke up he smiled. It was weird, feeling something for him now. He took me to a hiking spot later that day. It was quite a workout, but indeed worth it.  The waterfall that crashed in between the two rocks would soon be out spot. We just didn't know it at the time. I was sitting on the rocks when he shoved me. I fell to the crisp water. A loud scream from above echoed in the sky, then he to had came off the cliff. My face turned red, not blush red, more like the red of anger. I have a bad temper when I get mad, and boy did Sam find out. I was yelling at him, cursing him under the sun when he splashed water at me. Then the war was on. We were probably herd a thousand miles away, if people were around. We then got out and sat by a fire he had made us. Then when the air was warm and the lightning bugs came out to play, he stood up and serenaded me. No boy had ever done that, it was like I was living in some fantasy.

He then later walked me home that night. I was still in aww when we got to my house, I left him and went in and went to my room. I was getting out of my clothes and starting to take off my jewelry when I heard voices. I decided to investigate. I sunk down the stairs, outside, and crouched down behind the fence. The voices were just right on the other side of me now. I listened closely. At first I couldn't make the voices out, but then I realized whose they were. It was my mother and Sam talking. Sadly I only got to hear the very last part of the conversation. "Yes, madam everything is going as planned." Sam said. My mom let out a creepy laugh and said "indeed it is Sam, just keep hanging out with her." Then I heard the shuffling of there feet, so I quietly but swiftly jetted towards my room. I hurried up and changed out of my clothes, and crawled into bed. Then I turned the light off just as my door knob started turning. My mom walks in, kisses me on the forehead, then thinking I'm asleep she walks away. As soon as the door goes shut, my eyes pop open. What could they had been talking about? So many questions flooded my mind. I was alone again...
